Viel
Personality
Viel is a diligent, kind, forgiving, patient man. He cares a lot about other's well-being and will often put it in front of his own, even people who are strangers to him.
Due to having unlocked his memories from previous lives, Viel carries himself like an older person with a lot of experience to draw on, yet he manages to stay in touch with his own mortal urgency. He may have lived many, many lives but his current life is going fast by and he doesn't have a single moment to rest. There's far too much he wants to accomplish and he certainly gives it a good try, working himself to the bone. Despite being a doctor and knowing what is the most healthy for himself, he struggles living up to those standards, often staying up late and living on coffee rather than food.
Viel is passionate about his work and as such it bleeds into his many interests, which he wished he could pursue. Unfortunately though, he is far too busy with his current work to really indulge in such much. Also his romantic situation has been a gateway to a lot of new issues that he has been completely busy with tackling.

Trivia
- All of Viel's lives after Centrie has had green eyes - a small nudge to having crossed fates with the Goddess Safnia
- Viel has a deep love for Brilliars and their culture. On top of it being a culture he grew up in, it was also one of the first species tha he sat down to really study. He cares a lot about their traditions and customs.
Magical Powers
- Viel has magical powers that can both Physically and mentally aid those he is healing
- He has the angel wings from his first life as Centrie. He can make these magically dissapear, but when they does so, Viel gets a slightly restrictive breathing, as though they fill up the space inside his ribcage
Physical Powers
- He is ambidextrous! This is quite common for Brilliars to favor practicing, but Viel in particular has found it super handy so that he could write notes with either of his hands
- Viel is really fast at writing - unfortunately he lives up to the doctor's stereotype and his notes can be rather hard for others to read, since they need to be jotted down so fast

Mavis

Viel loves Mavis' condifent, dependable, goofy and loving personality. While others are intimidated for the great and accomplished sylvan, Viel seems to have quite the different experience with him. This is in part because their love spans different timelines and timetravelling, at least for Viel. To Mavis he loved Viel in another timeline, however he nows remember those memories from a timeline that to him never happened.
Viel may seem like an unexpereienced, overworked and vulnerabe mortal and likewise Mavis can easily seem like a brutal, horrifying, and superficial person. Though these are not always entirely incorrect, they certainly seem to be whenever they are together. The two of them seem like old friends that go way back and never seem to have trouble making the other smile and laugh. In fact they can be quite silly together with what seems like a myriad of inside jokes and playful jabs.
Viel has a tendency to get burried in his work and Mavis is jsut the right cure of being able to drag him out and burry him in affection and cuddles.
Lutesio
Loved one
Viel and Lutesio are still figuring out their relationship out - it's quite complicated, yet despite this, Viel's affection for Lu is sincere.
Their relationship started out rather rocky with Lu hating Viel because he was convinced Viel would take Mavis away from him. Viel tried his best to make sure not to validate those fears and to jsut be a kind, positive impact. Easier said than done.
Viel was the one who started out having a crush of sorts on Lu, despite their incredibly weird past and Lu not really being his typical type. A gentle comfort and appreciation turned into a want to get closer to Lutesio. The reasons for this change were mainly Lu being less hostile and Viel feeling like they got to know each other somewhat better, even if Viel felt like he had only stratched the surface with Lu. Viel always thought of Lu as smart and wise, even if he was also very emotional. Though he didn't fully grasp Krakrasien or Lu's job yet, he understood that Lu was really important and that he held a lot of responsibility. Despite not seeming to people around him, he still did his part to make others happy. He still tried, even when he seemed burnt and hardened. It was... respectable, admirable. Though Viel did not ever plan on sharing these feelings with Lutesio, mainly believing they would never be returned anyway, Viel let his appreciation help fuel his generosity and care for Lutesio, hoping that the other didn't see actions as bothersome. He was merely happy to feel comfortable around Lutesio and be able to see what Mavis enjoyed about him too.
Fate had different plans though. As time went on and Lu's fear of Viel taking Mavis away from him disappeard, he found himself return a similarly interest in Viel.
Somewhat awkwardly the two of them started dating with Viel trying to not overwhelm Lutesio too much. Their relationshipp is still shaping up and growing and it certainly hasn't helped that the worlds hasn't seemed to to give them any breaks, but they are doing their best.
Depiste the turbulence, Viel is determined to explore this relationship. He cares about Lu and he wants to see him grow - in his opinion he believes he already has seen quite a bit. Mavis only seems to reassure him about it as well. Viel is aware that he can't really sawy whether Lu is a good or bad person. He is away that Lutesio is problematic, to say the least. Where people claim Viel to be foolishly ignorant, Viel believes himself to be determined and having faith in the signs he sees. He believes in Lu and his ability to change and become happier and healthier.
Lyra
Daughter
Viel is incredibly joyous and proud of his daughter and how much she has accomplished in her life so far. He does feel a bit guilty that he can't be there for her more right now, since his own life is so hectic, but Lyra seems to assure him that she is doing alright. Even so, he tries to schedule more time to be with her
Romeo
Guardian child
Viel is the Guardian father to Romeo and has been so since Romeo was 12 years old. Viel was not aware of the exact conditions Doriam raised Romeo under and still does not know. He cares about Romeo a lot and would protect him with his life - he was really concerned once he found out what exactly had been happening between Romeo and his other friends Lucifer and Drue. Since his fathers death and Romeo's death and his then revival, Romeo has lived with Viel - of course with Lutesio's blessing. Romeo kind of does his own thing, but he seems to thrive much more after being around Viel much more. Viel does feel like they have grown closer over the time and it sounds like Romeo has also made friends with Ghina.
Elai

Elai is someone Viel looks up to and deeply respect - they bonded over a shared willingness to sacrifice parts of themselves to help the world around them. They're both hardworking and very passionate about their work - Viel owes a lot of his knowledge and resources to Elai and his generous teachings.
Rafrair
Friend ● Distant family ● Colleague
Rafriar is one of Viel's really good friends who he just doesn't see as often as he wished to. They met during his studying in Heaven and hit it off right off te bat, being that they have a few similarities in interests and heritage. Rafriar is incredibly passionate and gentle towards studying living creatures and figuring out what makes them thrive - they've done some field-work together, however unfortunately Viel is constatnly too busy to join Rafriar out on his work in the last couple fo years.
Safnia
Goddess
Viel doesn't remember this, but ever since his life as Centrie, he has become Safnia's champion, one of the people who are favored by her.
She has helped him many times, though the most notable gift he recieved was one that has gotten him killed over and over again.
"To die for someone else" - Viel wished for the ability to die in someone's stead and so fate will often twist gently to fulfill his wish. If possible that Viel's life can be traded for someone he cares for, fate will pull it in that direction. This doesn't always insure that the other survives, but it does bring a chance of time being bought and has actually saved quite a couple of people through out all of his life. Cooincidentally it is also the reason why Viel has a record of dying so young - his continue want to protect others often puts him in danger. However because of his sacrifices, Safnia also seems to be lenient in fulfillign his desperate, deep desires.
Like say, if Viel wished for a world where he had another chance and he then were transported to a different timeline.
Hemeli
Sister
Hemeli is one of the siblings that Viel has the closest of a relationship with - both her and Aelliz used to to visit him a lot during periods of studying or stress to help him keep a decent dayrhythm.
Hemili dotes on him a lot and takes the role of the caring edest sibling - she can be a bit rowdy and excited to times, but in turn she is really good at pulling him away from work and making the mood lighter.
Aelliz
Brother
Aelliz is more of the silent type, not talking much in general. He is the most talkative around his family, but that's not a high bar to clear. They get alogn really well but Viel sees him less frequently than Hemili, unless she pulls him along.
