Youth

Debris and his siblings were born just before the war. They grew up in a small farming town near the mountains among family and friends. They knew of peace and simple times before it was ripped away from them by the death of Queen Oasis and the following turmoil - just as they were learning to fly.

The War of Sandwing Succession

[WIP] Their town is attacked early on, Debris watches it all go up in flames. A soldier escapes with his siblings and brings them deeper into Mudwing territory where it's better defended. They train for a few years and Debris develops an interest in metalworking by watching the smiths of the town. He becomes an apprentice to one and joins their guild. Demand for more soldiers increases, though, and as teenagers, Debris and his siblings join the battlefield. Debris has a horrible time. The blood and death is all too much for him. He does his best to stay strong for his sibs and defend them. When they are able to return to rest and reorganize, Debris continues his apprenticeship.

As an older teen, Debris has a major breakdown on the battlefield. Watched Basalt get injured (lost her horns?) and just froze up. After that, he was finally reassigned to metalworking full-time. He didn't like fighting, but still wanted to support his Kingdom, and gladly took the new position. Fracture joins him a few months/years later, while Basalt remains a soldier.

Present Day

Currently, Debris lives in a large Mudwing city, spending most of his time crafting tools for agriculture and construction instead of war.

Debris is interested in starting a family and raising dragonets, but he hasn't found the right dragon yet.
