Summary

Very hopeful and ‘head in the clouds’ type – mostly on the surface. Underneath, whilst those values still ring true, he is eaten up by self-hate and doubt, and an unending need to ‘atone’. Does want the best for people, but when he first arrived on Earth he was confused and stayed away from others. Lazy mannerisms in both movement and speech, as well as his Aikido fighting style – it utilises lazy movement but still has good effect. Has a crushing loneliness in his soul, like he has lost half of himself. Can get hung up on things to the point of collapse – mentally and physically – but always realizes that he cannot let despair triumph and will bounce back in dire times. Looks for the best in people and actively tries to foster growth of these positives and defend the people who hold them. Believes in a set of people, or even a sole person who is capable of wonders above that which Heaven could ever achieve. Seeks this tirelessly. Wants to change Creation to favour freedom and happiness and eliminate suffering.

Biography (Expanded)

Deisin’s story is linked heavily to his twin brother Satan’s, and their fall was near simultaneous. A time came in Heaven, where Deisin came to question God as to why humanity must suffer in order to achieve growth. For Deisin had a deep and profound, nearly unseen love for God’s humanity. He watched them tirelessly and felt sorrow with their suffrage, he felt love when they did; he dreamed endlessly of a better world for a people he thought he could never be with. God answered, saying it simply fostered growth in the strongest way, and that Deisin need not worry about human affairs. But Deisin could not drop the issue, with which he become invested, and instead pushed God further – suggesting that perhaps a happier, simpler and safer world would benefit humanity just as much, if not more.

God eventually became angry at his son’s ‘foolish and vain’ beliefs that Deisin could know what was best for his own ‘prized creation’. God felt that humanity was his to own and watch develop as he pleased, but Deisin would not let up, and so God finally decided to confront him with a choice – which could easily be seen as more of a threat than a true choice. And so, God summoned Deisin’s twin brother – Satan – whom Deisin loved dearly and shared his own sentiments regarding humanity. Satan truly cared just as much as Deisin did; having spent time consulting and observing humanity with him, eventually seeing them the same way.

God, in his anger, had decided to wrest control back over his sons, and to punish them for thinking outside of his own desires for HIS creation. He saw the compassion and desire for change as an insult to his grand design, and so needed to make an example and to make them see His will as absolute. God explained that Satan was to be punished for Eternity if Satan and Deisin did not drop these notions of ‘wanting better for humanity’. Satan’s punishment was described as such: “Satan, you will fall from this Heaven, into a state of being that will mark you as a devil in the eyes of humanity forevermore. You will be forced to eternally punish the souls of those humans who die sinners in the eyes of God and Heaven. If you wish to prevent this, you will do as I heed”.

But Satan smiled and looked at his brother, who had been brough to shock by the pure cruelty that God had promised Satan, and said; “Fear not brother, if I must fall to help Father see His ways are wrong, and that we are right in loving humanity this much, I will do so gladly”. Deisin immediately heeded his brother’s words and tried to come up with something – anything – he could suggest that would not end in Satan’s suffering for Eternity. Nothing came and he simply stood shocked that he had caused such an ultimatum and may have doomed his twin forevermore.

God was furious at hearing Satan’s words, believing that such a petulant statement of defiance was unforgivable, and so He burned the feathers from Satan’s wings, causing him to scream out in pain and terror – Desisin mirroring the distress as he did so – before casting him into his new Hell. As Satan fell, the agony and hurt faded to be replaced by a smile once again, directed toward his brother; before they were parted, and Hell swallowed Satan wholly.

Furious for the first time, Deisin attempted to attack God, but was simply lifted by the Creator’s hand, catching the scruff of his neck. God lifted the angel above His Heaven, and as slowly as waves eroding a rock over eons, tore Deisin’s left wing from his body. The process was gradual, agonizing and was witnessed by all of Heaven’s angels. Deisin’s screams filtered through the clouds and were permitted to reach Hell, wherein Satan could hear his brother suffering. On Earth, a great many people felt ill at ease, as if something had broken in their universe, that was somehow dear to them.

With that, God held His son aloft for a while longer, watching as white light bled out from the wound and into Heaven’s unending skies. The angels below looked in on a mix of horror, fear and disgust, and in some - sadness. Their ruler had never done a thing like this before. God was nearly satisfied but was not done with His lesson yet – instead, he said one last thing to Deisin before casting him to the Earth below. God stared at his son, and he said “Now you will suffer as they do, I have granted you the ability to feel pain at its fullest. Grow from it. See why I must have suffrage in this Creation of mine. Satan will suffer eternally for what you have done, so go and atone for your sin. I give YOU this chance to see my grand design firsthand”. Deisin was in a state of shock still, and before he could try and ask as to why he was being cast down to Earth, he was discarded from Heaven like a broken doll, thrown from on high.

Deisin awoke in a strange city, with an intense, burning pain in his left shoulder. He remembered nothing and was confused. He knew his name, and he soon discovered he had a wing that not very many humans could interact with, let alone perceive (although he discovered that he could still use it on humans – usually as a tool in self-defence). He also found he possessed a driving urge to love and care for the people he met, but at first it was not so – he was originally terrified and suspicious of others – before someone offered him kindness and he began to open up to others. Above all else, he felt a desire and a need for atonement. He got by with the help of others, whom he met after meeting the person who showed him kindness – which further inspired him and reinforced his inner urge to care and protect peopl.

Often, he would dream of a shadowy figure named ‘Satan’, but he had no idea who that was – only that despite the screaming and nightmarish iconography that accompanied these dreams, he did not feel afraid of this figure. He felt a sadness. He later found out that humanity’s religions often depicted this figure as a figure of evil, which he could not agree with. He rejected that view, and he slowly began to realize a lot about himself – such as his lack of humanity, and the fact that he could not truly die; nor did he need to eat or sleep. Such actions (eating or sleeping) did bring respite and distracted from the inner turmoil he suffered from however, and so did eventually gaming when he found out about it, but it was not necessary in any way.

Deisin attempted suicide six times. Each time he felt unbearable, agonizing pain, especially in his left shoulder, and then he would awake 24 hours afterward. The memory of his latest death stayed fresh in his mind for up to a month, troubling and weighing on his mind in his spare moments. Despite all of this, his motivations only grew and so did his ability to control and mitigate some of his inner troubles. He still suffered, yes, but it was manageable. Dire times, such as when it came to defending people, could cause issues, but he would quickly bounce back and do what he could to prevent loss of life or hurt.

Just below his need to atone – and following his sixth death - he felt a growing, urgent sense from somewhere far off that he must find a set of people, or a sole person to protect and foster the good within. He could not explain why, only that he must, and that the desire to do so was slowly growing over his need to atone.

As of current times, Deisin continues his search, and looks for the best in humanity – the set of people, or the one he has to find - because his own nature demands it, and so that he can hope to save himself, Satan and Creation from eternal suffering.
