moss is a complete child prodigy who is extremely sought after. everyone wants to have access to their knowledge of the world so that they can use their brain power & teach them their own specific ideologies & dogmas. moss is very quietly absorbing this information & understanding it as well as information about the world around them but until they are old enough to look after themselves, someone needs to protect them from possible threats.
