Liang
"Why is it so hot?!!"
Liang is a fresh 13 year old pokemon trainer. She had recently left her home in Snowpoint City, northern Sinnoh, to travel and experience what the region has to offer. While not much of a battle type, she loved to befriend pokemon and play in the mountains.
She is slightly tanned, has platinum blonde hair, and emerald green eyes. She is a bit taller than most trainers she meets because she is older than the majority.
Liang is an active, observant, and humble young girl. She takes part in any physical activity available to her, such as skiing, hiking, etc. Travelling and sightseeing is one of her favourite things as she never left her town before age 12. She is very capable but is not very confident in her skills as a pokemon trainer although she is good at battling using ice type pokemon. She also really likes bird pokemon.

Past
Liang had always enjoyed outdoor activities and was constantly playing outside alongside her brother’s pokemon. She went to Snowpoint City’s trainer school for a brief period until she saw no value in it. She often hung out in the mountains. Liang chose to stay home past the age of 10 when many young folk become pokemon trainers and leave the nest. She had a misconception about travelling being directly linked to being a pokemon trainer, which is what she did not want to be. She later came to her senses after her dad talked her into leaving the city. That was when she was given her first pokemon and decided to travel through Sinnoh on her own to discover a new side of herself, and maybe even a goal in life.
Pokemon Journey
Liang packed her bag and left Snowpoint City via ship S.S Spiral and sailed to the Battle Zone. There were more ships departing to various other locations in the Sinnoh Region as the Battle Zone is a giant island. Liang took a ship headed to Canalave City, a port city. Upon arriving at Canalave Harbor, Canalave Library caught her attention. She loves reading and wanted to get her hands on a few comics. She spent that entire day in the library binge reading. While she was staying at Canalave City, she overheard a few trainers gossiping about Champion Cynthia and how she was going to make an appearance on TV via Jubilife City's television station. Liang always admired her and departed for Jubilife City a day later. That was where she met Main. They left the city and visited Sandgem Town for Liang to obtain a pokedex from Professor Rowan.

- She and Icicle cannot communicate that fluently. This made Icicle become a very chill pokemon that goes with the flow.

Sora
[ Brother ] Liang and her older brother, Sora, maintain an up and down relationship. Sora is much of an opposite to Liang: a highly competitive pokemon trainer, non active and dislikes anything that doesn’t relate to his pokemon journey. He was always studying at the trainer school and was at the top of the class until he left town at age 10. He ridiculed Liang for having a “weird point of view”, not studying, and not being more like him. She didn’t like it and they would often fight. However, whenever either of them were in trouble, the other would always come to the rescue. Their differences were always put aside for their safety and well-being.
Main [Mine]
[ Best Friend ] Main is like a sister to Liang. They met in Jubilife City in front of the Jubilife TV Station when pokemon champion Cynthia was set to make an appearance. They are both fans of champion Cynthia and hit it off well. Main was from a different region and they shared a lot of similarities. She was the driving force for Liang to keep travelling the world. Liang learned a lot from her as well. The two decided to travel together, but as their goals were different, they would split up at times.
Icicle
[ Pokemon ] Icicle is Liang's first pokemon. It was originally her father's pokemon but was gifted to her. She named it Icicle because its breaths were as cold as one. It is her main pokemon and she keeps it out with her the majority of the time, resulting in their strong, growing bond. Their relationship started out rocky because neither of them wanted to leave their hometown. They would bicker sometimes but accepted that they were both in this together. They went through the unfamiliarity and discomfort of leaving home and their normal climate together.
Hila and Kaito
[ Parents ] Liang and her mother are quite close just as a mother and daughter should be. She never pressured her into being like her brother and had to stop a lot of their fights. Her father is a pokemon breeder in the Unova region, but would come visit for a week a once a month or so. Rather than being upset about his absence, she is happy to know that her father is doing something he always dreamed of. Those two would have late night talks by Acuity Lakefront
