Gorseheart is a slightly underweight cat standing at 8.2 inches tall. He has a sandy colored pelt with a cream underbelly, back legs, and tail tip and brown tabby stripes on his back and legs. His ears are light brown and he has a spot by each of his eyes. His fur is relatively short except for his cheek and top of head. He wears the fur on the top of his head in a slicked back style. His eyes are a dark amber color.
He has three scars: a set of three clawmarks on his left cheek from a bobcat, a pair of scratches on his right side from a rouge attack, and a notch taken out of the tip of his left ear also from the rogue attack. Adorning his pelt are some gorse flowers at the base of his neck and tail.

Gorseheart has always been a friendly guy. He is willing to try to befriend anyone. He loves kits and is very playful, acting like a kit himself sometimes. Of course his best feature is his loving nature. Even if you were to upset him, he'd still love you and forgive you quickly.
Ever since he said his first word, Gorseheart hasn't been able to shut up. He's very talkative and inquisitive, always trying to learn something new. He's also rather truthful with can come of blunt sometimes, but his heart is always in the right place.
Unfortunately, Gorseheart has always been a little lazy and it might be tied to the fact he's a rather slow-learner. He is also very nosy due to his talkative nature. He always wants to know the latest gossip.

Gorsekit was born to a litter of three. His litter was his parents’ first litter and his mother Daisytuft is a little extra protective of them. He had a normal kithood and spent a lot of time with his siblings Sagekit and Brindlekit. He made many friends with anyone he could and best friends with Softkit. He began to idolize Finichsnap when he met him because he thought he was so cool and his name was awesome. His first crush was on Appleshine when he met her and spent a day with her while the nursery was on lockdown. He was known for sneaking out of the nursery to go to the elder den and listen to Horseheart tell stories of the old clan.
Gorsepaw was delighted to find out the Appleshine would be his mentor, already knowing the two would get along. He spent his time being an apprentice making more friends. He grew closer to Leafpaw and became buddies with Orchidpaw. It was absolutely devastating to him when Horseheart passed away and took her stories with her. Gorsepaw was out patrolling with Appleshine, Petuniapaw, and Waspeye when he wandered away and ran into a bobcat. The bobcat smacked him hard making a mark that would leave a scar and Petuniapaw came in and saved him. For this Petuniapaw got to rank up early and Gorsepaw felt forever in his debt as he owes him his life. Softpaw was found dead and was given his warrior name of Softsplash. This broke Gorsepaw. The same moon, Orchidpaw went missing. Gorsepaw stayed to himself the whole moon. The next moon, Sagepaw was found dead but Orchidpaw returned. He couldn’t be as overjoyed as he wished he could have because of the tragedy. With both of the deaths in close succession, Gorsepaw became hopelessly depressed. He became friends with Nightpaw which helped him come out of his depression.
A flood swept the clan and disrupted everyone's lives. Nightpaw went missing and Gorseheart was freaking out that he was going to lose someone else close to him. Luckily he was found and once the water receded the clan went back to life as normal. During the flood, Appleshine was pregnant. She was lucky to have her kits after the clan returned back to camp. A few uneventful moons passed by until Appleshine's kits became of mentoring age and Gorseheart got the privilege of becoming Berrypaw's mentor. He trained Berrypaw until he became Berrykiss and felt so proud to see his apprentice rank up. Gorseheart has spent moons just kind of watching Orchidswan waiting to tell her that he loves her.
Gorseheart was estatic when his best friend, Leafpelt was announced to be pregnant and then had her kits. He dubbed himself honorary uncle to the kits. Nothing of note happened until Gorseheart was given his second apprentice, Hygrangeapaw, after her mentor had passed away. Things were awkward between the two of them because Hydrangeapaw refused to accept that Mossstep had died. He trained Hydrangeapaw into Hydrangeaspark.
Gorseheart was approached in a dream by Muddyfern one day and given an omen that there was a predator in the territory. He tried warning Rosestar but she didn't believe him until Snakewatcher came back partially blinded from the badger. Terrified for having a run in similar to the bobcat, he did not participate in the battle with the badger, which turned out to be be badger plural.
Rosestar died and the clan was offically named RoseClan. Bluestrike became Bluestar and Gorseheart was estatic to find out that Appleshine would be his deputy. She had given birth only a couple moons prior to her second litter and Gorseheart couldn't be happier for her. Raindance succumbed to the famine the clan was under and Gorseheart did his best to comfort Appleshine. A little while later he recieved his third apprentice, Lichenpaw. Eventually Bluestar retired and lost his name making Appleshine, Applestar. She picked Gorseheart as her deputy much to his surprise.
