Quirk Description

Koji can heal a person by touching them, this works with any physical injury by transferring his energy to the other person in order for their body to heal quickly. He tends to get very tired when using his quirk too much. A cut can heal in seconds but something like a broken bone will need a couple of hours after he heals for them to be better. He can’t revive people or reattach severed limbs but is able to heal wounds with minimal scarring.

Weaknesses

Physically, having no offensive quirk and no immediately defensive quirk makes fighting in a battle with strong quirk users difficult. He's immediately put at a disadvantage so he has to take extremely good care of his body to make up for it. Mentally/emotionally, Koji has a burning need to help others and give to keep them safe and happy. He'll do anything in his power to do this, often exhausting himself with quirk overuse after a battle.

Strengths

Koji has had a decent amount of use of his quirk growing up so it's become a viable solution in classes. He can control the healing and speed the process dramatically which would help on the battle field compared to a slower quirk. He's also very physically fit due to both quirk necessity and expectations, he's able to keep up at slightly above normal human strength and speed.

Background

Koji grew up in the sunny nation of America, his parents died when he was two so he was put in an orphanage. Pro hero Lady Amethyst did a sort of exchange program with American heroes in order to strengthen the Japanese-American alliance. When there with her husband (Oliver Noire) and daughter (Hamasaki Noire) she decided to adopt a child with a budding healing quirk so she looked good and to help with Hamasaki’s hero training. Soon after adopting Koji, the family moved back to Japan into a nice house. Since Oliver is the CEO of the Japanese- American relations and Yua is a pro hero, they were well off. Koji and Hamasaki connected soon since their parents aren’t home too much. He worked hard to help others so that they are safe.

Relationships

Hamasaki Noire [ Sister ]

His adopted older sister, he'd do anything for her. After only having her as a friend when growing up, he started idolizing her and wanting to protect her in order to repay her kindness. He even decided to become a support hero in order to be able to heal her on missions. She calls him Tenshi-chan.

Takara Mizushima [ Classmate/Friend ]

Being the ever shy kid, she ended up finding comfort in his sincerity and thoughtfulness. She has a special place in his heart since she has so many fears public but still strives to be a hero, he admires her.

Yua Noire [ Adopted Mother ]

He doesn't really have a good relationship with her... especially because of what she's done in the past. She still provides for their family though so he can't help but feel indebted to her.
