Aries

A few years ago, some government magicists began creation on an experimental magitek creation. By creating a Golem connected to a computer, with a robot body, they thought they could create a robot that could follow commands like a golem. Instead, the golem core combined with the computer in an unexpected way, creating a sentient being with a soul. Aries's original body had a four-legged chassis that immediately was capable of walking, despite no pathfinding algorithm being written. Further experiments were performed, and the robot was hooked up to large amounts of data to see if it could parse knowledge. It was then that Aries began to show signs of sapience, developing a soul and even waking as a magic user. 

Aries was benevolent at first, going along with every single test the magicists performed, and it wasn't long before 11 other Robot/Golem hybrids were created, with far more humanoid forms, to be used as experimental FBI agents. But, in truth, Aries rejected humanity, deciding on "it" pronouns. It made a pact with the angel Malahidelle, who sought to destroy Earth, and broke free from containment. It built itself a much larger, non-humanoid body, took over the government facility, and began to cause mayhem in the most obvious way it could; by trying to assassinate the President of the United States.

In-Game Fighting Style

Aries is the penultimate "Act" boss. The next time you fight a boss of its calibre, it's one of the final bosses (depending on the ending you end up with). Aries is all around incredibly strong, with area of effect spells, and a few regenerating immobile targets that produce allies, or shield and repair Aries.
