Profile

FINAL BOSS! (Pictures to come later)

Heaven has a strict caste system. Whatever kind of angel you are born as determines your place and role in society, for better or for worse. The very highest caste is the Seraphim, of which only 77 are allowed to exist; no more, no less. The Seraphim are, bar none, the absolute deadliest and most powerful race of creatures in all planes of existence. (Demiurges don't count as they're not strictly a race, and their threat levels vary wildly between them)

Malahidelle is not only a Seraph, but also currently the oldest, making her the most powerful of an already immensely powerful caste. Heaven and Hell have been at war since long before even Malahidelle was born, but the war is currently at a lull. Hell gains power by burning the Karma off of the souls of sinners, while Heaven gains power whenever a soul passes on to the Realm Above Heaven. In order to tip the favor towards Hell, the Council of Sin has chosen to take over Earth and turn it into a wasteland of evil. This would both increase Hell's powerand allow them to finally topple Heaven.

Now, Heaven believes themselves to be a pillar of Moral Superiority, but that is not true. Their belief in Sacrifice, and the Greater Good has grown toxic over time, and Malahidelle is a major symptom of that. She found it surprisingly easy to come to a decision on what to do about Hell's plans. Rallying her forces, she prepared to conquer Earth first... and destroy it entirely. She began to make plans, finding agents on Earth to open up a Heaven's Gate in Dresserton.

But, before she could destroy Earth, a group of Humans, Monsters, Demons, and Angels, all led by Amvira, managed to destroy both every Hellmouth and Heaven's Gate on the planet in one big, seemingly impossibly powerful ritual. This would severely cut off Hell's advance onto Earth, but Malahidelle would not be denied her victory. At this point, she was so poisoned by her beliefs and ambition that she still saw the Earth as a liability that must be destroyed.

So, she did what no Angel was to do until the End Times. She lay claim to a great power. Order. The Power of God Itself. With it, she had limitless destructive power, to "Bring Order" to the world.

She destroyed the barrier between Heaven and Earth, and re-rallied her forces. They began to swarm through the new Heaven's Gate formed in an ancient temple (built by humans from a civilization pre-dating even Malahidelle) closely orbiting the Sun, but just as Malahidelle herself could make it through the opening, Amvira arrived with a few of her closest friends.

By that point, Amvira had awakened too. Now posessing the Power of Chaos, (falsely) believed by demons and angels alike to be the antithesis of God, she was prepared for a battle of biblical scale, for the sake of the Earth.

  • The "77 Limit" of Seraphs is due to their particularly strong connection to the Nexus of Power in Heaven. Too many Seraphim would actually drain Heaven's power to the point where it could collapse. But, the "77 limit" was put in place countless millennia ago, and by now Heaven could actually support far more... Heaven is too rooted in tradition and order to change the rule though!
  • The average Seraph is roughly ten times as deadly as the average Balrog. They are actually physically stronger than a Balrog despite their size, and that's not even counting their massive magic potential. And Malahidelle is much, much stronger than the average Seraph even before she becomes the Embodiment of Destruction.
  • After obtaining the Power of Destruction, she believes herself to literally be God, and believes Amvira to be the "Antigod."
  • The truth is, the Antigod does not exist, and both Malahidelle and Amvira each only have 1/7th of God's true power.
  • Learning this truth would break Malahidelle and literally drive her insane.

In Game Fighting Style

By the time you fight Malahidelle as the Final Boss, Amvira's gained a massive buff. In addition to a brokenly huge increase to her stats, she gains the "Chaos Flare," a long ranged laser beam on a 5 turn cooldown that literally deals infinite undodgeable damage to everything in it's path. Malahidelle, on the other hand, has the "Ultimate Nullifier," an ability on a 4 turn cooldown that gives her an infinite HP shield. Amvira's allies cannot damage Malahidelle until she uses Chaos Flare on her to destroy her shield, which will always return before she can cast it again.

Besides that, Malahidelle has phyisical attack and holy magic power out the wazoo. During the first half of her battle, she has lots of minions (which can all be OHKO'd if they get in the path of Amvira's Chaos Flare). She can also buff her allies by destroying their weaknesses. In the second half of the battle, she attempts to destroy her own limitations (technically she can't exactly do that) and becomes a truly epic final boss.

After taking away a mere 10% of her second phase's unbelievably large health pool, she gets royally pissed off, but Amvira takes advantage of this as Malahidelle forgets to reactivate her Ultimate Nullifier, and Amvira finally kills her and routes Heaven's forces.

Make sure you bring along allies with Holy protection! You also have to bring Amvira though, so you'll have to work around her Holy vulnerability. If Amvira falls in battle, she will actually die! Not to worry, she can revive in Hell, but it would mean the battle is lost... unless you have Lydia on the team as well. Lydia will reveal a gambit she had planned as backup, and absorb Amvira's soul, becoming a willing vessel for Amvira and her power, but at great risk.
