Wise, patient, and kind -Poru or 'Paul' as he is known by his English-speaking friends is one of the most pleasant and good-natured people you will ever meet. No one knows how he managed to gain sentience, talk, or graduate from Harvard with a philosophy degree. In fact, no one really questions it. He is much too nice a person and hardworking an employee that people barely notice after the first few meetings.
Paul loves drinking tea, gardening, and anything traditionally Japanese. He spends much time working from home, teaching online classes (commute is rough on his body) and spending time with his loving wife and children. While people tend to wonder how a lobster managed to sire two fully human children from a human wife, he assures everyone with a cheerful gurgle, that the paternity test says they're his.
