Matthew Cooper comes from an Australian family, his father is dead and he despise his mother with all his heart. Although, he's been very kind to his younger brothers Phil and Rose. He's a doctor resident in an important Sidney hospital while he's studying to become a neurosurgeon. His ex-boyfriend was the head neurosurgeon of the last hospital he worked in, and even if they aren't together anymore, he still wants to become one too. Kinda because he can't forget him but also 'cause he finds that area to be really amazing. He have depression and isn't going to a therapist even if he should, but he tries to cope with his own sadness and unwillingness to live with helping other people who are more needy. That's why heal people makes him feel a bit better, but he will need to deal with his own problems.
