Adrian's personality is best reflected in his two nephews, which he helped to raise. He's a funny guy, though it can be argued he uses jokes as a deflection from serious topics. He won't shy away from cracking down and responsible when needed (though he doesn't like the feel of it). He's a bit of a drifter, his noncommital tendencies resulting in him having no real career or family, outside of his brother and nephews.
His older brother wasn't a werewolf, which caused their dad (the alpha at the time) to be harder on him. In truth, he doesn't like to be stern out of fear of seeming too much like his father. After his father's death, he lived with his brother and helped raise his nephews. He mentored Jacob as a werewolf, similarly to how his father had done to him. He left his brother's home 5 years ago and hadn't seen the boys for 3 years before senior graduation.
