Iris is my first d&d character that then also became a character in another RP.
The original Iris is a half-elf war cleric of Tyr that was brought to Barovia for reasons mostly unknown to her. She was brought there with two others, an elf paladin named Laucian and a dwarf fighter named Amber. She did however lose her two companions early on, first Laucian and then Amber. She did however find new companions to travel with, a human wizard named Sid Sunfruite and a drow paladin named Keylith. Now these three are within the castle of Stradh Von Zarovich after gaining allies to fight him and knowledge that could help defeat him.
This Iris never knew her father and started studying to become a cleric after the clerics at the nearby temple saved her from dying. At the age of 35 she traveled to defend her homeland from orcs but ended up in Barovia instead.
The other version of her is Dr. Iris Dirion, a human. This Iris also never knew her father and early on her mother decided to move them both in order to give Iris a good chance to make something of herself. Iris started to skip a few grades early as a child and decided to go into the medical field to become a doctor at 17, graduating at the age of 22. At the age of 23 she was hired as the doctor for an expedition onboard the Star Wolf.
