Kaius

Personality: loves attention, likes to make fun of people and likes to make jokes that make people laugh. Has a fairly carefree attitude but when a serious situation comes down, his insane side of himself comes out when attacking. Likes to run around and feel the wind on his face, and enjoys it when he's sent out somewhere far.

Fighting Style: instead of bearing the ceremonial knight's sword, he wields his scissor blades instead. Because of his ability to cut and seal (as in, if he cuts something, he can place it back as if it wasn't cut in the first place), he is easily able to gauge his distance and decide what will be sliced through. He can manipulate his cuts as if he were a puppeteer, but his ability is a double-edged sword. It is hindered by the fact that it can only be oh-so-many objects cut at once, and if too much, will physically make Kaius incapable of attacking and create internal wounds. Otherwise an excellent mid-range fighter.

Description: growing up as a child, he had the sudden inspiration to be his teacher's disciple, despite the fact that the fighter class is meant for females. On the whim, the teacher decided to accept him, and after a couple years later had realized that he was essentially a natural in the class. In addition, that specific fighter class was dying out, as not too many women were interested in taking up arms at that high level of difficulty, and so she kept him as her student.

Because he was her only student, he got the opportunity to travel all over the empire and even into the neighbouring countries, to either learn about something or to help his teacher on her missions. However, it reached to the point that the teacher had wanted to settle down, and knew that he wasn't going to be the type to follow suit or find a successor anytime soon. With that thought, she questioned him where he would want to go, which caused him to suggest the Royal Knights. 

Due to his harsh training as a child until adulthood, passing into knighthood was not a challenge, which he laughed at the others who simply "could not meet the minimal standards", even though he understood the struggles of reaching such a level. Looking at his options on where he was placed, he started out in Paladon, but grew bored due to how peaceful the province is. Looking for more energy and flair, he looked towards the neighbouring province to the north, and eventually got himself stationed next to Augustus and Annabelle. 

Trivia: if a sidequest is done from the beginning of the turn of events all the way to Avamore, the last province to be visited, a special event will be triggered where he will have to guard an individual, waiting to be rescued by Annabelle and Augustus. He is not "playable", ever.

Relationships:

• Augustus: coworker and someone he loves to tease, but gets in sync when fighting alongside him in battle.
• Annabelle: works under her as her guard along side with Augustus and Alain, and loves to make jokes with her. Likes it when the Duchess sends him off to complete an errand around the city.
• Alain: a rookie that he likes to play around with, but point out important factors in his training. Treats him like a younger brother.
