It's been many years, and Raidin has finally reached a point in his journey where he has much to show for. He has a beautiful wife in Maci, his childhood friend he's always had a crush on. He has three wonderful children, and currently the Gym Leader in Castelia City- a ghost type specialist.
Raidin may no longer be the protagonist of the story, but he finds himself at the heart of the issue. A military-like organization called the Rehabilitation of Pokemon for Citizens (or RPC for short) has sprung up, and kidnapping well known names in a variety of specialties. It would seem prominent trainers such as gym leaders or champions are being abducted, as well as breeders and those knowledgeable in PKMN.
It doesn't take long for the RPC to find him, and take him away from his family. By this point in his life, he's fully grown into himself and his confidence. Raidin won't back down from a problem or challenge, instead tackling it head on with gusto. He has a mouth on him when confronted aggressively as well.
This all stems not only from his own natural personality, but the fact that he wants nothing more than to protect his family. He's still the loving, cheerful person he's always been. Just bigger, stronger, and somehow more confident- with a cocky streak that can be charming, somehow.
Unfortunately, it is during his time in captivity in the RPC that Raidin finally meets a challenge he cannot win. He's face to face with a ghost of the past who is bitter at him. In a moment of opportunity, Raidin is shot point blank in his holding cell by Leon.
Raidin's journey ends here, aged 35.

Trivia
- Raidin chose ghost as his gym type as it was wildly different from his personal team- a challenge.
- Raidin has been married to Maci for many years. Their marriage is ideal and filled with love.
- Raidin can't help but see his firstborn, Jack, as his mini me. It's endearing!
- Raidin's first PKMN ever, Yuuto the Typhlosion, is now just a fat and happy house pet. Too old to battle!

- His hair is short, but somewhat messy.
- He often has stubble on his chin, a result of often forgetting to shave it.

A fairy tale romance, with innocent beginnings as childhood friends who started their PKMN journey together. They had began dating when they were 16, and to Raidin, everyday is worth living when your best friend is also your partner. The two complete the other, and Raidin devotes his goals to ensuring Maci is well taken care of. She represents the world to him.

Raidin's firstborn child, and everybody is quick to say Jack is just a mini me of Raidin! Raidin adores the boy, he's the apple of his eye. Perhaps it's because he sees so much of himself in young Jack, but he has high hopes the boy will follow in his footsteps and become a great trainer. Maybe a gym leader- maybe aiming higher than his dad, and becoming a champion. He likes to teach Jack battle techniques on his off days, and looks forward to the day Jack surpasses him.

Raidin's second child, and quite the weird middle child indeed! Raidin adores the fact Van looks so much like his mom; his attitude? Not so much sometimes. Like any child, he can act up and has a sharp wit that's sometimes uncalled for. He can also be reckless and fiery, but that's all part of his charm! He brings life to the house, being the loud and extroverted one.

Raidin's third and last child, and the only daughter. A sweet girl, that's a fair mix visually of her parents. She's much more introverted and clings to mom and dad a lot more. Raidin knows it's her age, and will be sad when his final child grows out of it; it's a time he misses with Jack and Van! He knows Demi will keep herself out of trouble, so puts a lot of trust into her despite being the youngest.

Truth be told, the two are just shy of being in their 40's together, but they still act like rivaling siblings. Sam still likes to tease Raidin, though it's not as rough as it once was. The two get along, even if Sam still sometimes glares at Raidin for marrying his little sister. Still, Raidin knows Sam is eternally grateful somebody like himself married Maci.

A now long-time friend, Ryoji is still as chatty as ever. Ryoji is a bit of a confidant to Raidin, and Raidin would definitely tell Ryoji his secrets and intentions first, primarily if it revolved around something for Maci. The two are great friends, and each are a pillar to the other in the most purest way. After all, they aren't related, their relationship is simply because they enjoy the other's company.
Kara has been in his life as long as Ryoji and he's immensely happy the two were wed! She still held on strong to her strong, no nonsense personality. And yet, somehow, she's still the life of the party and the center of attention. Raidin knows she'll continue to be a strong pillar in their group, and keep everybody safe and in line.
