Rhys - or 'Ren' to those in Japan - is a new and up-coming Detective! He was first discovered as an apprentice to a well known Detective operating in Osaka under the name of Hosonaga Mizuta, which was a rather surprising discovery due to his cold and solo-going nature; however, despite Rhys's young age at the time, the two of them managed to solve many cases along with a notorious serial killer case, which was what gave Rhys his title - only after 2 years of being a known to the public! However, his tale doesn't end there as right now, he is a head of his own offices! "Harmonia's Offices For Cases of All Sorts" - HOFCOAS for short - is an office that uses Ultimates with... Less than favourable pasts and talents. With his mentor Akasuki Nozumu and despite the opposition, he and his co-workers had solved cases without stirring up much trouble! As Rhys often says "Who's better at thinking like a criminal than a criminal? Every skill is useful, and I will prove that criminals can help us fight crime just as effectively as police!" A black fedora with a couple of purple feathers on top of it and a violet pattern underneath it accompanied with a long, black coat and a pair of black trousers and boots. If anything, the only thing that makes him stand out is his turquoise scarf that he always wears around his neck. Furthermore, while his hairstyle is also very average - short, brown hair tied into a small ponytail at the back - it’s his face that attracts attention, due to the ear piercings and how bright his eyes are; if you would ever get lost, do not worry as those sapphires will shine brightly for you! But truly, Rhys just looks like an average bloke you would meet on the streets. PersonalityRhys is just a normal dude in this world of chaos; extroverted, joke-loving and competitive, Rhys is a party animal that won’t let anyone feel excluded for whatever reason. Really, one might wonder if he really is a detective, because outside of work he is everything but professional at first glance. And yet, no one can say that the man is not deserving of his previous title, as not only is he a great leader of his offices, but the moment a case falls into his arms, he won’t stop until it will be solved. However, there’s one flaw that he has, and that’s his trust. He believes that everyone can get better - that’s the entire principle that his office worked on; everyone there had some shady past, but despite it they banded together to fight for justice. In such light, there’s a chance that he will give too… Many second chances to people that would wrong him. Of course, there are times he would say that they crossed the line, but those are rare instances. Furthermore, deep inside, for as confident and determined he portrays himself as, he is insecure of himself. After all, if she had to dress up as a man in order to be taken seriously, perhaps her skills truly don’t stand up to everyone’s standards? She also longs for the simpler days when she could have been herself, and fears that the moment she would expose herself, everyone would make a laughing stock out of her and eventually leave; this is what she fears the most, being alone and abandoned again.
