The news of a new Ultimate Evidence Custodian spread around like wildfire, causing countless of gossips to surround the new student of Hope's Peak. With an English-sounding name, a lot of people suspected her to be from abroad, but with her private information being sealed shut, there's no confirmation if such rumour is true or not; what is known however is that despite her loner nature, she is well versed with evidence safekeeping, along with few other, miscellaneous jobs that she's asked to fulfil by her offices or independent police stations.

All that's known about Essix's private life is that she was scouted by the well known at the time Akasuki Nozumu, who's officially an Ultimate Watchdog, and has a tendency of focusing on those with questionable talents and backgrounds...

...so then, what type of a background does this Ultimate have?

Appearance

Essix is a girl of a rather average height of 170cm/5’7” and despite her long, grey(she herself insists that it is silver however) hair that would point to the direction of her being old, she has a face of a young adult. Her skin colour is as white as a wall, making her emerald eyes stand out on her stoic and stone cold face. The top of her head is covered by a grey cap with a slightly darker hue of grey flower resting on it.

Moving down, she wears a white shirt with a charcoal vest and a bloody-red coat - where on a lapel, there’s a badge representing a black fedora with a white outline of a magnifying glass on it - with an addition to a pair of navy-blue jeans and strong, black, nipped boots. Additionally, she wears a falconer’s glove made from thick, brown, decorated with countless scratches, leather on her left hand. On her opposite hand, there’s a cheap bracelet with a green stone shaped like a nine - the origins of it are rather unknown, as whoever would ask her about it would simply be ignored.

Weirdly enough, she also wears a traditional-looking katana sheath on her top-left leg, which has a rather well-taken care of katana in it, ready to defend its owner and master... A bit old fashoined but hey, who can tell her what to do?

Personality

Essix is… A presence once can miss if they aren’t looking for her specifically. She’s quiet and doesn’t like to be the center of attention due to her inherent difficulty with talking to people outside of business inquiries. If there is a large crowd of people discussing something, chances are that she will leave in order to sit in a library, or to try and find the coldest and darkest place to try and relax. Not only that, but her attention often darts around, finding it difficult to focus unless someone A) Is talking about crimes; B) Is talking about birds; C) Has just said a horrible joke. And yet, outside of her impulse to laugh at mid jokes, she is very much stoic and borderline cold.

Yet despite that, she does have some good characteristics, such as her intense amount of tolerance. Unless someone is parading with a kill count of 10+ people and wearing their memoirs as jewelry, there is really a lot that Essix can tolerate and deal with. Truly, she is the ocean’s gray waves, calm unless stirred. Perhaps it is due to who she works with or because of how oblivious she can be. Furthermore, if anyone would attempt to even get her to do something ‘girly’ with them, she would just stare at them with confusion - oh no, she’s a tomboy!

Creation Origins

Essix has... A long history. She was my first ever OC, at the time when I was going by 'Aelita'. She was a cold prosecutor who ran away from home when her family tried to make her enter their crime family. She lived with her grandma and learnt spirit channeling, only to be forced to go on a run when they were attacked. Since then, she was a thief on the streets until she became a Prosecutor. How? Don't ask me. If Franziska can have a whip and Godot can throw coffee, why can't Essix be a prosecutor?

Throughout my journeys, Essix became a wizard, DND thief, a Mystery Room member, a dealer in a Brekaing Bad rp, a makiteke from FE, a soldier AND an Ultimate Swordswoman. When I got to discord, she finally became an Ultimate Thief in her first rp - but we do not talk about that. Later on, I completly scrapped her backstory and rewrote it, giving her the longest page count up to date(75 pages of googel docs). I then apped her to WC2 and I somehow got in. Now? Her backstory is being rewritten again because it was shit back then lol.

The roleplay sadly died before the motive could drop, so Essix didn't contribute much.

Winter Carnage 2: Breaking Point

Winter Carnage was a first RP within my current community where I was brave enough to app Essix(as I was going by Essix too). Surprisingly, she got in. While there were bits that I wish I changed or didn't write at all, her run was more or less decent. She befriended a few people, had an impact on the plot by fighting one of the mascots and finding clues - she even confessed her love to one of the only remaining friends she had. Aaaaand then her only friend turned out to be a mastermind. Either way, her run there, while not perfect, was a nice way to get back into the swing of things with her; she survived with two other participants, and returned to a calm life with her brother and friends.

Akasuki Nozomu

An Ultimate Watchdog who she works under. Despite the controversy resulting in her disapperance, Essix still holds fond memories of her, and whenever asked abotu her opinion on the matter, she simply tells the reporters to go away and report on something more important.

Rhys Harmonia

A Detective that she works under. A chill fella from America, who always made sure that she was alright and comfortable, even when she would simply nod and not say anything. Over the time - and with the help of the others in the Offices - she broke out of her shell and started talking to him, developing feelings after a few months.

Gerato Parios

A fellow member of the H.O.F.C.O.A.S and a Sleight-of-Hand. His favourite pass-time is trying to get a reaction out of her, only to fail spectacularly to her cold face. He has claimed that before she'd turn 25, he'd make her annoyed - she would never tell him though, that she is always annoyed with him internally.

• Originally, her name was Maria Sharpedge and she was a prosecutor.
