They/Them - All-seeing Angel of Destruction - Aro/Ace

Nearly a millennia ago, they were created by the bureaucracy of heaven to be used as a war machine against the Demonic Legion; fallen angels turned into demons as punishment for speaking up against anything the angels deemed as treasonous. Throughout the thousand year war, Entropy destroyed all that dared oppose the heavenly army without consideration who really was right or wrong; they lacked the emotions to judge and reason. Made to follow orders was their purpose and that was their purpose alone; they were eerily creepy even for angel and demon standards as they were indifferent throughout the entire war. Cold and uncaring, they destroyed without question earning them their title. Even though they had memories, it had very little impact on them at the time. After the war, they were assigned one of the highest ranks of angelic society; a throne. Even long after the war and after the angels and demons made peace with each other once again, they never changed. Once they had served their original purpose, they were assigned to guard a gate that housed the highest ranking of angels and forgotten, a relic of a past time and history now on display. There, they would recount history to the younger generation of angels that asked. While for many angels this job would’ve been a punishment, Entropy stood at the gate.

On one particular day while the new angels were being toured around heaven, two particular notorious pranksters decided to try and mess with Entropy as they guarded. However, as they quickly found Entropy didn’t react to them. One of them suggested pouring liquid on Entropy to try and see them at least flinch, in which the other poured a vial of strange they had stolen earlier. Unbeknownst to both of them, the liquid was the Water of Emotions, which was how mortals, angels and demons first gained emotion. The two tricksters had no idea what they were going to unleash.

Normally stoic, Entropy found themselves feeling suffocated as their memories now had weight to them as they felt every emotion  at once when they normally did not. They felt the horrors of the war they were created for and in a panic they ran, destroying nearly everything in their path unable to take it all in. They felt pain, sorrow, anger for the first time despite not knowing the words to describe it as their powers ravaged through heaven’s bureaucracy uncontrollably. Soon enough after destroying much of heaven’s infrastructure, their rampage continued onto the Underworld as many demons found themselves barely avoiding the mass destruction the angel had cast upon them. It went on for days, as the angel left a massive swath of destruction behind. Only after the Queen of the Underworld was called, was Entropy’s rampage stopped in its tracks. The queen trapped them and engulfed them in a calming mist to pacify them, and there they were sent back to heaven.

Many of the bureaucracy was there to greet them, but not in a good way. Entropy found the two angels previously desperately explaining the situation as they both knew they were in deep trouble. Soon after, it was explained that the liquid caused them to gain emotions for the first time; normally it was only given in small amounts each time as to not overwhelm the subject, but since they had it dumped on them all at once every emotions flooded them at once. However despite it being an accident, this change was now permanent and it left Entropy unable to fulfill their usual duty. It was here that Entropy was given their name due to what had happened. Soon after the bureaucracy decided that they would spend the few hundred years on earth assigned with a partner demon to hopefully rehabilitate them and have them get used to emotions; in Entropy’s eyes this was an exile and a punishment as they were quite comfortable in Heaven, but as it was mandatory they had no choice but to oblige.

Sent to earth to where they would meet the demon working with them, they found themselves in a small town filled with strange residents that even their memory told them that they were strange. Many of the residents were unafraid of the duo, and there was an avid paranormal investigator who even went out his way to ask questions about them. The demon assigned to them was strange for one two; they found themselves being strung along as he’d often try (and fail) scamming the residents for money. Although it was strange, slowly they found themselves at home in the strange town, even acquainting themselves with several of them whenever Paradox wasn’t trying to scam people. Paradox was oddly endearing as well, as Entropy found they were a friend? Albeit a friend with very bad decisions.

In the present while they’re not the stoic and now a rather nervous wreck, Entropy is finding themselves at home as they learn more and more about emotions and what they want. They find that with things to care about for the first time, it’s a pleasant feeling for them as they now make their own decisions without orders to stop them now. Occasionally there’s bad days in which they accidentally destroy something, but as they find themselves able to describe emotions more and more they find that not all of them have to be bad. Happiness is one they really like...
