Kaede in general has a girly, perky, and enthusiastic personality. She is very sweet, friendly and easy to talk to though she can be a bit childish and come across as rude without realizing it. Though she ususally doesn’t care what others think of her, she is an avid “trend follower” and social media user. This is shown by her fashionable tastes and interest in celebrity drama. Though she doesn’t mind different opinions, she gets rather feisty when others shove it down their throats. Kaede also seems to be a hopeless romantic, and merely focuses on finding the right guy for her.

In spite of her sweet personality, Kaede is also emotional and is prone to getting annoyed or angered when things don’t go her way, hinting that she may be as quick-tempered as Haru. When she’s salty, she has this habit of speaking out her feelings bluntly, and can even hurt others with or without intention, though she is quick to apologize. As opposed to her sweet personality, she’s also gets defensive and behaves acerbically around disrespectful and pompous people. She is absolutely stressed by the constant ridicule she and her friend gets, so Kaede would drop her nice girl act and start little squabbles if it means to speak for what she thinks is right.

Regardless of her acerbic side, Kaede is a fairly well-meaning young woman who’s protective of her friends and would do anything for them, because she cherishes her bonds deeply.
