Alexandrah Dorell

Sandra is responsible and serious despite her young age, making well thought-out, rational decisions instead of impulsive ones. People often tell her that she should loosen up and live life a little, but it's not so easy when someone has so much responsibility on her shoulders. Despite her rational approach to things, she's always open to trying new things, and definitely has a talent for working with horses.

History

Sandra was born in England, but she was still very little when her family moved to Hungary, so she grew up bilingual, of course always having some trouble when people didn't understand why she had such a weird name. She was more serious than her peers even as a young kid, which was probably due to the fact that besides school and studying, she was always taking part in some kind of sport. By her teens, Sandra had tried swimming, fencing, running, rhythmic sport gymnastics and various team ball sports, but she always lost interest in each of them after a while and looked for something new. Her parents didn't mind her switching sports so long as she did something - they believed that physical activity was good for both body and soul, so Sandra wasn't allowed to sit home and do nothing.

In her quest for the perfect sport did she meet a girl in high school who was actually her classmate, Renée. The two of them became great friends and through her was Sandra introduced to horse-riding, and finally there was this sport that clicked with her. In the next few years Sandra picked up riding quite fast, starting to compete in lower level show jumping. She tried both vaulting and western riding, and picked up on everything quite nicely. She wasn't an outstanding champion, but she stood her own in competitions.

While her love for horses grew, it was also clear that she couldn't make a career in riding, so she chose to study economics and accounting during her university years, afterwards working in several firms and gaining experience. Her job wasn't exactly a dream job, but paid for her expenses as well as for her riding, and Sandra thought that a fair compromise.

Relationships

Sandra had a rather ordinary dating history, being a bit of a late bloomer and only receiving her first proper kiss at the age of 16. Her sporting and studying kept her busy as well as out of trouble, so to everyone's pleasure she made good choices regarding her partnerships. She had a few different boyfriends during university that didn't click for various reasons, then had her first very serious relationship once she graduated. She was actually with that guy for 2 years and thought it would be a partnership for life, feeling really in love, except the guy dumped her and broke her heart. Only afterwards did Sandra realize that he wasn't right for her, and cheated on her behind her back (something her still-best-friend Renée commented on a couple of times, but was never taken seriously).

Afterwards, even if she went on dates, Sandra couldn't find it in herself to get that serious with a guy again and lay her soul bare, so she focused on her work. To this day, she doesn't exactly seek opportunity out while also not being closed to it, but she focuses on other aspects of her life.

Affiliation with Lovelyta

It was around the time her life was falling apart thanks to being dumped that a rather interesting phone call came from her friend Renée. Sandra knew the Scarted family had a horse barn and even went there a couple of times, but she had no idea her best friend actually took over the facility, and was ringing her up to come on board and help manage it. It was probably one of the most impulsive decision in her life, but Sandra sorely needed a change, so she quit her job, sold her flat, and moved to Lovelyta Ranch to help out with the business. It was the happiest she'd ever been, using her skills as well as working with horses, even purchasing the first horses of her own.

The adventure wasn't quite finished yet, though. Renée decided settling down with a farm wasn't her whole life's plan, so she gathered up a few of her horses and travelled abroad to compete and find out what she wanted to do. In the meantime, Lovelyta was entrusted to Sandra, so now everything is ran by her, and after a while it quite grew on her.
