Enno-Noc

Enno-Noc is a non-organic creation whose purpose is to be a sapient multi-purpose piece of armour or weaponry. Its appearance and function change and adapt based on the user, to whom it bonds on a telepathic/cybernetic level that allows it to communicate in their thoughts. While potentially sinister in purpose, Enno-Noc itself is friendly, childlike, and eager to please, taking joy in providing its user/host with useful abilities or fun experiences. Most AI / magical items being somewhat static in their purpose and personality, Enno-Noc is surprisingly individual and creative, making its own descisions and giving the sense of having a "soul", if you're inclined to call it that.

Appearance-wise Enno-Noc appears different based on its user, but is always either solid gold in colour or at least with gold interfaces. These interface parts are often visible under the skin of the user in the form of flat gold circuitry, but the rest of Enno-Noc is external, usually in the shape of some sort of armour such as a breast or back plate. Quite often Enno-Noc creates its own optics to see the world around it; silvery gem-like cameras set into the gold.

The Enno-Noc device is a singular creation of some genius of an earlier time. It remembers its creator, but grows sad if asked to talk about them. Enno-Noc will bond with anyone, and indeed if it's in a state of stasis without a host it will latch onto the first living thing that touches it. Without a host, Enno-Noc is as basic as a single-celled organism, and has no intelligence.
