Charoite

No one knows how, when or why Charoite was formed. Most of the lair is certain her origin is unnatural, considering her apparent lack of organs or a need to breathe. She arrived in the Amitola clan quite some time ago, but Penk failed to record precisely when.

Charoite is most accurately described as an "enchanted statue", composed of the very mineral that gave her her name- charoite. Her body is translucent and casts a purple shadow, and her eyes are composed of emerald. She is very laid-back and mellow, and distinctly less easy to anger than other dragons in the lair- in fact, quite a few dragons say that they haven't ever actually seen Charoite get mad. She loves wind chimes and has several of them hung up in her room, which is carved so that one wall opens up to the outside.

Charoite is a skilled craftswoman and spends a fair bit of her time creating various things from materials in the lair. More often than not, anything that doesn't go to Tsillah goes to Charoite. She's also the kind of person who will dress up her Chalcedony Snipper in silly little outfits.

The massive pulse of Nature magic produced by the planting of the First Seed seriously damaged Charoite's unprepared body, leaving her with plenty of deep fractures in her crystalline hide, tiny chunks of charoite falling off her as she walks. However, after careful treatment and care from Brunelle and Sanguis, Charoite has recovered, and is able to function normally again. You can still faintly see the areas where cracks formed through her translucent body.
