The effects of the terrible peppermint disease that plagued Caramella during the mid winter month seemed to have... differing effects on the ill. Some got sad, others lost their memory of who they were, some were disinterested, others were just reduced to an utter madness as their bodies were ravaged by the unbearable chill that drained their bodies of their original colors.

Wes however, was one of the few who just became.. violent. He hides it well.

Wes has a vague memory of who he was in his 'past life' prior to the infection, he remembers he was a popfloss from Theta, he recalls he wasn't living in theta when the infection hit, but he cannot remember where it was he was living in the past. It didn't matter. He was one of the unlucky ones who couldn't leave Pagato or the Psekazi region in general as he became extremely heat sensitive, which would of been unbearable to live with in any other region. He didn't care. Although internally, Wes cannot feel anything emotionally, he feels disinterested with most of everything to the point of becoming non-responsive in general, he was kind of a scary patient due to him just staring off at other patients or the doctors and nurses, sometimes full on not responding as they asked him questions, all he would do is tilt his head as if the doctor had just asked him some unsolvable riddle.

Wes overtime grew slightly more responsive, almost as if he grew out of the shell shock that must of been plaguing him due to the chill and pain of being infected. It was just because he knew if he didn't start acting more 'normal' he would of never been released, Wes still feels nothing towards people, he doesn't feel sadness, happiness or anything. Or atleast he assumed that he couldn't. Wes could feel one thing, and that was love. He becomes infatuated with people he finds pretty, to the point of becoming obsessive.

Since the release of most victims from the infection, there has been a strange string of murders.
