Description
To the west lies two kingdoms hidden amongst lush forests and verdant mountains, both of which regard the sun and moon with admiration and reverence. Much like the sun and moon these two kingdoms are strongly interconnected and have been for hundreds of years, lending one another aid when needed so that they may flourish and prosper together. Zahir is the crown prince to the proud mountainous kingdom, and like the sun his kingdom represents he’s hard to miss, his presence bringing warmth to those who have the pleasure of speaking to him.
Zahir is a kind man, attentive to the people he spends his time with and unwavering in his resolve to do what’s right for his kingdom. It’s clear that his father- the current ruling king- and his tutors have taught him well, and there are no doubts to those around him that he will make a fine king when his time to reign comes. However...he isn’t exactly perfect, and a dragon his age is prone to getting themselves into lots of trouble. Zahir himself is no exception to this.
Beneath his nobility and learned manners, Zahir is a headstrong man with boundless amounts of energy to spare, and when he isn’t engrossed in political matters it isn’t unusual to see him sparring with knights...or brawling at a seedy pub with the local drunkards. His boisterous nature has made him a must-have at parties and get-togethers both noble and common, and if there’s anything he loves more than fighting, it’s partying...and drinking...and, of course, men and women. Most of the dragons residing in the kingdom know of Zahir’s penchant for flirting, and while a select few may proudly boast of their nightly escapades with the prince, none can say they’ve claimed his heart.

Trivia
- Zahir loves alcohol in general, but his absolute favorite is white wine. He keeps a sizeable flask of wine from his favorite vintner on hand at all times.
- Like many reptiles, Zahir doesn’t do too well in the cold. He becomes sluggish and slow to respond; as such, he relies heavily on fire magic to keep himself warm. Fire magic is probably the only magic he’s good at, though...
- He tends to shift into his dragon form during his morning flights. It’s unusual to see him in this form otherwise, unless he’s in a serious fight.
- While his father is well aware of Zahir’s habit of sleeping around, he doesn’t seem too fussed about it. Maybe he was the same way when he was younger…?
Zahir’s best friend and confidant, Cygnus is a court mage that grew up beside Zahir for most of his life. As far as the two are concerned, they’re practically brothers; Zahir can speak to Cygnus about anything under the sun, and Cygnus can speak to Zahir just about anyway he wants. Zahir relies on Cygnus’ magical abilities for his own magic, and the cane he holds is actually filled to the brim with the pygmy dragon’s magic, to be used in times of necessity.
