Kain

Kain is a candy monster. He has shiny light blue eyes with tiny black slit pupils, big teeth, and a long, sticky tongue. He has two insect-like long antennae that end in small light blue tips; they curl backwards. They're sensitive and are used to detect vibrations, and they wiggle when he's happy. He has a very long and fluffy neck, thick muscular arms with large claws, and small clawless back feet. His fur is mainly white with red, darker red, and light blue stripes and patterns. He has a long tail with a heavy bell-like end that makes a dull yet satisfying sound when struck. He'll sometimes thump his tail against the ground as a warning or use it as a weapon.

Kain does not wear any accessories or clothing.

Being a candy monster, Kain's entire flesh, bones, and blood are comprised of a sugary substance. He thrives purely on sugar. His blood is naturally blue and syrupy with a plain sugar taste, but his body will change to whatever colors and flavors he recently ate. (EX: Cherry = red; lime = light green, etc.)
It's not limited to candy either: he'll take on the flavors of various foods and drinks, too. If he drinks soda, he becomes soda-flavored.

When Kain eats candies with special properties, his body will take on those properties as well. Pop rocks will make his flesh and blood fizzy. Color-changing candies will make his flesh and blood do the same.

If Kain is injured or loses a body part, he can regenerate anything, from his teeth to a whole limb, as long as a good chunk of himself remains.

Kain is a candy monster who's just as equally sweet on the outside as he is on the inside. He's a super optimistic individual who's hard to bring down. He always greets people with a wave and a huge grin on his face. His grin might terrify some, but he promises that he doesn't eat people!
Like some sort of imaginary friend, Kain appears to lonely children (and even adults!) and goes on adventures with them.

As a sugary magical being, Kain is the embodiment of a neverending sugar rush. He's always active and full of energy; he never seems to sleep! He can be spontaneous and difficult to keep up with. On the bright side, he has the added benefit of no eye bags.

Kain has the curiosity of a child and gets distracted easily. He loves learning and discovering new things. In most cases, it's the children who teach him! Even the smallest and most mundane things will fascinate him. He'll listen to people ramble on-and-on about their favorite things, and it could be anything: flowers, cheese, or even rocks!

Kain has a soft spot for children and loves playing with them. He gets along easily with and never talks down to them. If they want to say something, he'll listen. He'll also protect them with his life, but he might be a bit of a bad influence...
He doesn't tell children to go to bed on time or eat healthy.

Kain's antennae are super sensitive, and he hates it when people pull on them. He'll tolerate kids doing it, but that's about it. Anybody else gets a light shove or is gently pressed to the ground as a warning.

Because Kain's body adapts to whatever he eats and thrives on sugar, he avoids veggies like the plague. Nobody wants a brussel sprout-flavored candy monster. Broccoli is his most hated veggie.
He indulges heavily in sweets of all kinds and even some sugary drinks. He'll always keep some kind of candy on-hand to get his fix. If there's nothing else available, pure sugar is okay, too.

Nobody knows where Kain lives or where he even comes from. He just appears at random and then disappears.

Kain's origins are unknown. Nobody knows who would even need to make a candy monster to begin with. He's made it clear that he's staying though. No amount of magic shenanigans is going to move his sugary goodness off this planet.
