About

══════════════════*.·:·.☽✧ ✦ ✧☾.·:·.*══════════════════

Yoyo was recently brought back to life as a jiangshi for reasons unknown. He suspects to have been assassinated due to his position in the royal court and his major influence at the battle of Shiwei. Yoyo is currently investigating the reason behind his 'resurrection', but being a jiangshi slows him down and takes a while getting used to...

Before Death

Yang worked at the palace as one of the emperor's advisors, since the Xiyong family were long part of the imperial court for generations. He was respected for his diligence in his position, although some might say he's a workaholic. Because of his intelligence, Yang was appointed as a military tactitian for the ongoing war. With Yang's skill in battle tactics and planning, their kingdom won one of the major battles, the Battle of Shiwei.

A few weeks after their victory, Yang was murdered. The culprit remained a mystery since there was no time to investigate during the war. There obviously seems that there is more behind it...

As a Jiangshi

Being ressurected as a jiangshi put Yang in an unexpected situation. Now that he is unemployed, he does not know what to do with his so-called 'free time'. He's currently investigating how and why he was brought back; as well as trying to find the killer's identity and war situation. He meets another jiangshi named XuXu who helps him get used to "living" as a jiangshi. For some reason, Yang is able to fight off his instinct to feed on human qi and refuses to take it, rather instead feeding off of livestock qi. "Living" as a jiangshi surely is complicated and sometimes Yang wished he'd rather stay dead.

Personality

For the most part, Yang is a serious and calm individual. He tries to resist being swayed by emotion and relies on logical reasoning when making decisions. He is very diligent when completing his duties and makes sure his work is in top quality. However, he can be considered a workaholic at times, usually working overtime in the palace. He is a calculating and strategic intellectual who enjoys reading for work and leisure. Strategic games, like Chinese Go, are his favorite passtimes. Yang always wants his head to be occupied to cloud the usual thoughts that trouble him...

Despite being composed and maintaining a straight face for most of the time, he can get self-conscious. Due to his position, he has always been admired by people, thus causing him to be constantly attentive on how he delivers himself in front of others. When pushed in embarrassing social situations, his composture slowly crumbles and he starts getting nervous and fidgety. Due to devoting his time only on work, he does not converse much with other people. He also gets very nervous around women because he does not how how to interact with them due to inexperience. He can get awkward and slips out his composure due to his embarrassment. When he became a jiangshi he starts to overreact more and express more emotions besides his stoic face, due to Xuxu's constant annoying antics and also due to the fact that he is no longer bound to his imperial duties.

In general, Yang has trouble expressing his true feelings in front people. Instead of telling them, he usually does things indirectly hoping the message was conveyed properly. He has trouble connecting with people because he does not know what to discuss about when placed in sudden social situations. He's afraid the things he discusses are disinteresting and prefers to stay quiet. The only topic he can discuss in depth at the top of his head are political topics..despite not realizing the countless interesting things that reside in his head that has yet to be mentioned.
