About
Aggressive • Vicious • Stubborn
Helios Sylvana is a troubled man. Stubborn, with an aggressive temper to boot, there are not many people in the world that are let behind those thorny walls. Also known as the eldest prince, and the First Heir, Helios was supposedly destined for greatness. Groomed as the heir to his father's future empire, Helios was raised in isolation and pushed to become stronger, smarter, crueler by his power-hungry father. Eventually, he severed himself entirely from his family at this point; after all, they had abandoned him in his childhood. He didn't need them.
Currently, he works (somewhat) as a cleaner under a mysterious and powerful casino owner named Qilan. He has an inkling as to why she's picked him up, but for now he's content to run as far from his problems as possible.

Personality
There are many adjectives to describe Helios. Hot-tempered, stubborn, vicious, volatile, resentful. Helios is overall, a very aggressive individual who has no qualms about using violence to solve his issues. He lashes out with biting words and insults, almost always wearing a fierce scowl or glare. He isn't one to easily relax, too embittered and wary of the outside world to ever let his guard down. Callous and snappish, Helios will without hesitation beat down on anyone who irritates him enough, whether through verbal insults or physical action. His hair-trigger temper is nasty, having developed and grown worse throughout his abusive childhood. Aside from maybe Leto, Helios is one of the most jaded members of his family, and feels incredibly spiteful towards the rest of his family for their abandonment.
Contrary to popular appearance, Helios does have excellent self control, and he's capable of holding back his anger and maintaing a calmer facade. His anger is simply a way of unbottling his resentment and spite from years of suppression, but he's very much capable of rational and logical thought, and always has a clear mind in battle.
He holds somewhat of a soft spot for small and cute things despite his punk-like appearance, not that he'll let anybody know. Helios has a special place in his heart for his boyfriend Caleb, who's been one of the only people he's ever let his guard down around. This is something he will never admit in a million years, but he does crave acceptance and approval. He may very heavily dislike his family, but he'll always subconsciously want to be a part of them again. The problem is whether they'll accept him.... and whether he'll allow himself to be accepted.
Trivia
• Helios is a terrific artist. Actually, his whole family are all incredibly gifted in the arts. Occasionally does some freelance work.
• Since Helios is a bitten vampire, not a pureborn, he doesn’t actually have as severe of a weakness to normal vampiric weaknesses (but also not as powerful, so, you know. Balanced). This means he can eat garlic with only a mild allergic reaction. But it’s still a really annoying allergic reaction. And Helios really hates it. And really wants garlic. So he will fucking eat that garlic bread even if he gets indigestion for hours.
• He's got 6 other siblings. Yeah. Big family. Leto (14), Aylin (16), Serendipity and Kirian (twins, 19), Kamui (22), Calypso (25). Their mom was kinda obsessed with mythology and astrology/astronomy so...
• His mom created a bunch of jewelry for her kids (before she went batshit), and Helios' is a silver ring.
• Actually the most tactile when in private, and letting his guard down. Often brushes against Caleb or leans against him or grumpily scoots close to him.

Abilities
FIRE MAGIC || Helios comes from a royal family very much entrenched in magic, and therefore has immense magic power. This magic power is channeled into his fire magic, making it incredibly powerful, not to mention his impeccable control over it. Helios' fire is capable of burning up to very intense temperatures, with its hottest turning a blue-white while melting everything around it. Helios is capable of using it in a variety of ways. This includes fireballs, fire storms, fire blasts, burning touch, fire creations (albeit very limited) that he can control. He's also capable of nullifying and redirecting outside flames, though nullifying takes much more effort than redirection.
VAMPIRE PHYSIOLOGY || As a vampire, Helios has enhanced abilities compared to humans. He is stronger, faster, more durable and has better senses than humans. He’s semi-immortal, and could live forever naturally, but can still be killed by unnatural causes. His regenerative ability is much better than many creatures. While he can eat human food and enjoy its taste, he won’t gain any nutritious value from them. Silver can sorta make his healing slower. Sunlight makes him a little lethargic, makes his abilities weaker. Garlic is like a mild allergy. This is due to him being a bitten vampire. His vampiric abilities are admittedly less powerful than a pureborn, but that also makes him less adverse to vampiric weaknesses, hence him essentially just being fine in broad daylight. He's also capable of very limited shapeshifting. This includes growing claws, wings, and longer fangs. His gaze is supposed to be alluring and hypnotic, but Helios himself isn’t elegant or charismatic enough to use it properly.
• From a young age, Helios has been molded into becoming the perfect killing machine, and the next heir to the throne. Since an incredibly young age, he's been taught every way to kill sommeone. This includes close quarters martial arts of various styles, magical combat, and assassination, leading to a pretty diverse list of skills to choose from. Gifted and extremely skilled with martial arts and weaponry, but has recently turned to a more street brawler-like style. That's not to say he's forgotten any of his training, far from it.
Weapons
NAME HERE || _____ takes the form of two Huaxian dadao. They generally rest in the form of silver rings on his hands, and are released uppon command. Helios is able to channel his magic through the blades and create fiery slashes and searing hot wounds. Combined with his magic, they can basically cut through other magic, and are essentially immune to anything heat or fire-related. Also magical in the sense that they're very good for hurting anything supernatural or magic-based.
