Caleb is a denizen of "hell". Specifically, he's a hellhound, an artificially-created species bred specifically for warfare. Though for a demon, he displays a surprisingly a nice personality. Despite the carefree and easygoing attitude he always displays, he can be very vicious and murderous when he needs (or wants) to be, true to his demonic roots.
He holds a savage glee in chasing down his prey, whether it's beast or sapient. Due to his self control, his bloodthirst is mostly kept in check, and he oftentimes preoccupies himself with doting on his boyfriend.

Personality
For a species bred specifically to hunt and kill, coming from a powerhungry empire, Caleb is strangely nice for a demon. Down-to-earth and laidback, Caleb is an anomaly among most demons. He carries a nonchalant and carefree attitude for most things, always happy to chat and socialize. Even in tight situations, he maintains an easy smile. His pretty face and charming smile are oftentimes enough to garner attention and sweet-talk his way out of situations. However, he tends to hide his mischief behind an honest face. Crafty when he needs to be, he isn't above poking and pushing buttons to get reactions. Despite his surface-level pacifism, Caleb has no trouble fighting back if needed, and will oftentimes go above and beyond lethal force. This is not to say that he doesn't have control, and for the most part Caleb is perfectly fine curbing his more demonic tendencies.
He is also one of the few people that can deal with and pacify Helios’ anger, which is a miracle in of itself. Caleb adores Helios, and is fascinated with him, deigning to following (and even stalking) him around like a loyal puppy sometimes (which Helios won’t admit he’s fond of). Unfortunately, Caleb does not exactly understand boundaries, and will oftentimes push too far without understanding.
Trivia
• Caleb is a dog. And as a dog, he's territorial and possessive over his belongings, specifically Helios. If you threaten Helios, Caleb is coming for you. He won't actually kill you or harm you (unless you know, it's warranted) but he will make you shit your pants. Helios is annoyed at this, because Helios can easily handle his own.
• Caleb's not actually his real name. But his real name isn't exactly pronounceable for most people, so Caleb is good enough.
• Caleb's hellhound form is approximately 20 ft tall.
• A good boy. Most of the time.
• Sucks ass at cooking. "I always caught my food... and cooked it with my fire." Will burn down kitchen. Keep out of kitchen at all cost.
Abilities
HELLFIRE MANIPULATION || Caleb manipulates hellfire, as all hellhounds and demons in general do. Hellfire is incredibly hot, and burns for an incredibly long time, and is incredibly hard to put out. Very dangerous, will incinerate you into a crisp immediately. While Caleb can usually use this in any manner, in his true form, he usually outputs this as laser-like blasts from his mouth. His open stomach is also a furnace filled with hellflames.
PORTAL CREATION || Like all hellhounds, Caleb is capable of creating portals. These portals can go anywhere that Caleb has been, or has marked, and the demons' empire often used these hellhounds as a first wave of attackers, or as trackers to scope out the battlefield. There really is no technical limit to where the portals can reach, as long as Caleb has been there before, or has the coordinates to reach that area. He's also capable of marking people, and has marked Helios this way.
• Hellhounds are generally split into two different types: guardians and trackers. Guardians are heftily-built hellhounds that focus on power and defense, while trackers are the stealthy, well... trackers. Though trackers' sense of smell is by far better, all hellhounds have incredibly keen senses. Once Caleb latches onto a scent, he won't lose it. His howl is also capable of inducing fear into those who hear it.
• Fast regeneration, but not god-like. Trackers have better regeneration than guardians, but mostly because guardians are built to endure attacks much more easily.
