Cysteine

Illusionist and telepath capable of creating brief mental simulations for everyone nearby. This is mostly good as a (major) distraction, since the affected people can't move and only are imagining themselves as being able to move and react. It is also fantastic for influencing unsuspecting humans by giving them "divine visions".

Her true form is a gold-and-marble statue. Her true name is the virtue of Harmony, but she hates it. She also hates any attempt to nickname or abbreviate her name.

She is hard-working but utterly amoral and anything kind she does for anything else probably has strings attached. Also incredibly fabulous and rarely fully dressed. At 1500+ years old and without a fully human-like body, she is a little out of touch with the times.

As one of the Angels of Order, she is highly devoted to the Divine Plan and only the Plan.

In WCH continuity, she works as the Head of Psychiatry and any political influence she has is mostly due to her uncanny ability to create blackmail on anyone anytime (barring the heads of the Board, who scare her shitless as they do everyone). She is, however, an extremely diligent and efficient psychiatrist, able to fight patients' neuroses extremely quickly (although sometimes harshly) through her illusionary simulations. She is Leucine's close friend and basically the opposite in personality and abilities. She has human-like physiology in WCH, but not in the main Rue & Woe canon.
