Kinnosuke is a U.A High School student. He's in class 1A and he serves Hero Work-Studies under Kensuke Miruku in his agency.

Personality
He may not look like that type of person, but he's actually is pretty sweet and caring. He can't stand seeing innocent people getting hurt and he would do his best to help them. That's why he decided to become a hero. He is pretty nice and he knows how to behave in formal situations. He's always pretty calm and it's hard to make him angry. He really cares about his friends, and is loyal to them, and would do anything to protect them.
He have troubles with making new friends. Without his hero costume, he feels pretty defensless and more shy. He doesn't really talk a lot and in arguments, he never defends his position - he just always assume that others wouldn't understand him, no matter how much he would explain. He's overprotective and he kind of lacks sense of humor - he's that one person to who you have to explain the whole joke, before he starts laughing. It is not easy for him to forget when someone hurts him or his friends and he can even seek revenge.

Shadow - his quirk allows him to merge with his shadow. It makes him almost invisible and immune to most physical attacks. He can also send his own shadow to spy on others - however, if it "gets lost" or don't connect with him within next 24 hour, he faints. The more time his shadow is absent, the higher probality that he'll eventually die.
The darker it is, the hardest it is to control his quirk. When there're too many shadows in room or there's completely dark, he can lose track of his own shadow and merge with others and become a real shadow himself - forever stuck in a realm of ghosts.
When he merges with his shadow, everything that he was touching or was in him before he merged, becomes shadows too. However, as soon as he drop or throw them, they become real back. In his shadow form he can't touch anything, so, if he drops something, he has to turn back to normal if he wants to pick this up.
He's not really good at combat in open area. He usually prefers staying as a shadow on one of the walls, throwing shurikens at his opponents. In his shadow form, he can move around pretty fast.

Trivia
- He claims to like drinking coffee - however, coffee he drinks is more likr 50% sugar, 25% milk and 25% coffee. When Kotomi once drinked his coffee by accident, she almost threw up because how sweet it is.
- He likes watching anime, but he watches a lot of cartoons too. He has a younger sister and he watches My Little Pony with her. His favourite characters are Discord and Scootaloo.

Relationships
They know each other since middle school. They soon found a common ground. They are best friends and Kinnosuke has a crush on her. They both are in a same class. They study, train and hang out together all the time. However, she doesn't really get along with his toad and she calls her disgusting.
They work part time in the same cafe. Kinnosuke is sometimes overhelmed by her outgoing and optimistic personality, but he likes her. She also shows him her old short tests from first year, so he can make better cheating sheets (of course, Kotomi doesn't know about it).
