Throughout it all, you are still you,
beautiful and bruised, known and unknowable,
and isn't that, just you, enough?
There is a faint sound of thunder in the distance, but it wasn't because the weather was bad, it was merely the location. The sky was dark, the wind cold to the touch, and the silence, due to the lack of humans present, eerie to the bone. An abandoned Church stood before him, one of the few scattered around Glast Heim that show no signs of being abandoned at all, and obviously so with the sounds of the Undead echoing from within as they start to sense the presence of holy items stashed in his bag. The inexperienced exorcist, dressed in simple High Priest clothing, seems to be standing his ground in a calm disposition as his inquisitive amethyst eyes search for potential exit routes in case things decide to go downhill before he steps in, which they usually do, but not that it bothered him. He was good at running away, and he knows this.
Soleis is someone who isn't hard to figure out at first glance even if his actions make it hard to believe it sometimes. His personality matches his face, docile and serene. Naturally soft-spoken, he does his best to be kind to anyone and remain blindly positive in any given situation, even if it degrades him in the process. While it does make him look pathetic, it paves the way for some surprisingly humorous responses. He does not consider himself to be all-knowing in the first place and instead, he considers everything, even failures, to be a learning process, which renders him to be quite shameless in his actions and words.
As much as he does bend the rules however, he is still a peaceful individual and is outwardly nervous when getting caught in between conflict, to which he ends up saying strange and otherworldly things in order to diffuse the situation. Even if there are times where he manages to find loopholes through imaginative methods and pats himself on the back for it, he is generally yielding to authority and those who are skillful tend to leave an effect on his impressionable mind. Though, if there is one thing that is known about Soleis, is the fact that he continues to run purely on the chase for knowledge and the truth behind his distorted magic above all else. It was clear to him that his magic had been distorted in some way or another, evident by the troubles of conjuring Magnus Exorcismus with his Heal not exactly working on himself the way it normally does, but instead his body regenerates whenever he falls unconscious, and he wants to know why.
The sound of thunder started rumbling louder, as if challenging him to enter the infested grounds of the Undead, and he accepts the challenge. Albeit, once an idea is put into his head, he becomes compulsive with taking risks and has no qualms in being the first to dive in. This makes him rather selfish and reckless due to relying on his regenerative abilities and tends to ignore his own safety as well as the safety of others around him in his pursuit for answers. Ultimately, the absence of acknowledging consequences in every decision he makes is his biggest downfall, but learning to listen and allow himself to embrace his limits will contribute to his significant growth. He is simply all too trusting and reasonably self-sacrificing.
Finally, he was ready to begin his routine, subtly raising a confident clenched fist and stepping into the unknown. He has done this a hundred times before, but it is the unexpected results that keep him coming back for more, and perhaps one day, he will find the answers he has been seeking out.
"Let's try this again, shall we?"
Whether it will cost him more than what he had bargained for, is an entirely different question.

Personality Traits
- Bodies of water
- Seafood and tofu
- Frozen yogurt
- Bohemian style decor
- A nest of soft pillows
- Aggressive animals
- Sudden pain
- Spicy food
- Hot weather
- Uncomfortable resting places
- Making someone's day
- Giving gifts
- Celebrating the holidays
- Visiting the beach
- Compliments, specifically "handsome"
- Soleis has a rather rebelious style, which is uncommon and reckless for a supportive Priest. It can be described as being defensive in an offenseive manner as he refuses to stay behind, expected to provide the emergency care needed after an emergency happens, so he actively searches for opportunities to slip into and provide prevention instead. He uses the Book of Billows as his weapon in order to draw out the element he harmonizes the most with, which is water, and this gives his skills a watery effect in form of wide barriers.
- He is of Laphine race, specifically a Donas Laphine and was born from an Illusion Flower. Donas Laphines are the only race that are deemed potential candidates to overtake the king position in Eclage titled Mayor Jun. As a Laphine, he also lives a lot longer than humans do and ages far slower. His birth flower still stands in the middle of a lake in Eclage. It has since lost its glow, but nevertheless very much alive. Instead, the flower's glow would return whenever Soleis was nearby.
- He works as a model for a fashion boutique in Prontera. Owned by the Valentine family, the boutique is branded as Noblesse and it has smaller branches located throughout Rune-Midgard. It is most known for its custom made designs, typically requested by high end clients, but it does have a wide variety of clothing and trends made available on the regular. Due to this, he owns some nice looking clothes even if he barely has the zeny to be able to afford them.
- He likes wearing gifts that have sentimental value. He has a gold floral bracelet on his left wrist from Nikolaos, a brooch on his collar from Andacht as a Christmas gift, and a handmade leather bag on his right thigh from Kane. In the future, he adds a pink peony to the hilt of his sword from Siorus, and a bradium earring on his right ear from Kazimir. Eventually, he learns to not unhealthily cling onto the past and stashes it all away, leaving just Kazimir's earring on.
- He likes to braid parts of his hair and it has become a signature trait. Given the chance, he would braid other people's hair as well.
- His body forces itself to shut down if he gets hurt or fall ill. Falling asleep at abnormal hours is how his body regenerates. It takes anywhere from a night to a week in order for him to function again without retaining physical damages. While he hardly gets sick, when he does come down with something, he experiences it worse than the average person. He makes it a habit to cook his own meals because of this.
- His magic doesn't heal, but resets. This is the reason why his supportive skills are like second nature to him, but his Magnus Exorcismus was producing strange results as it tries to revert the Undead back to its original form, which is impossible, thus turning it into an abomination instead. He relies on the usage of Amulets in order to freely mutate an Undead with an object and a bottle of Holy Water that helps regulate the effectiveness of his Magnus Exorcismus. He is able to cast skills without the usage of gemstones, but he still carries them around in order to blend in. His whole journey is to understand the purpose of his magic and find a balance in order to be able to utilize it whether it be for good or evil.

Daily Routine
Soleis wakes up fairly early, but tends to take his time going through the morning motions. Although it doesn't seem like it, he finds joy in making his bed after waking up, except it hardly looks the same every time and purposefully so. His apartment is located nearby a local market, which means there's always plenty of people sighting to do on his little balcony while he attends to his plants and have a simple breakfast in the comfort of his sleepwear. It also gives him time to invite the fresh morning air into his apartment and appreciate the new day.
Once the day begins to kick start, he freshens up, and never failing to take extra care of his appearance. His bath products have a seaside scent to them, which he adores and finds nostalgic. Regardless of what he has to do that day, his role as an apprentice exorcist requires him to either work or train, so he always starts off wearing his High Priest uniform. On his free days, he dresses in a casual light weight button up shirt and pants. He prefers to step out and enjoy the day around the city than stay indoors.
Although he's affiliated with the Prontera Church, he's hardly within the slow-paced vicinity and instead, spends most of his time at haunted abbeys such as Glast Heim. His job entails either performing rescue missions, answering haywire exorcisms, or conducting security rounds to make sure the place isn't too overcrawling with the Undead alongside his colleagues Cyneburg and Andacht. On other days, he typically does exorcism training under Cyneburg's watchful eye, which was more intense in the beginning, but has since gotten sparse the more he got used to things.
He works part time as a model at Noblesse, a high end fashion boutique that's well known for its quality and satisfactory curated orders. Besides getting paid, he's generously given the clothes he models as well, so even if he claims he hardly has the money to spend luxuriously, his wardrobe doesn't reflect that. Due to this job, he sometimes gets recognized on the streets and he has a small fanbase of Priestesses at the Church who unfortunately, even knowing Soleis isn't exclusively homosexual, find joy in shipping him with other attractive men after confirming that he and Nikolaos were once the perfect dreamy couple.
On days where he's free to roam around Prontera, he likes spending time discovering and visiting all sorts of cafes to stop and relax at for a while. It's the hidden gems in the big city that are the ones he enjoy the most aesthetic-wise, plus it gives him the opportunity to help support small local businesses. He often brings along a friend whenever he decides to do this, and most of the time it's Cyriacus if he's not being bombarded by his work at Highness Heal. On special occasions, he treats Cyneburg to a fancy dinner whenever he can afford to and on more casually, visit Andacht to play a round of cards or two.
Soleis has a whole list of indulgences. As an adventurous individual, he doesn't limit himself to just Prontera, but he visits other neighbouring towns as well in order to be able to take photographs using a camera Cyneburg had gotten him for his 22nd birthday. He adores beaches and the wide ocean views, so being in Jawaii and Comodo are some of his favourite choices. Considering it more as a hobby, he takes pretty good candid shots and spends time doing little DIY projects, one of which is the handmade bracelet he gifted Nikolaos. Despite working as a model, he actually enjoys a good old fashioned camping trip, surrounded by nature.
Even after years of having to take care of himself, he by all means isn't a professional chef, but finds that he prefers making simple yet filling meals. His main focus is usually tofu since it's affordable and he doesn't consider a meal complete without vegetables. Stir fry tofu and broccoli is what he'll usually make for himself and if he has a little more to spare, he'll treat himself to tofu crab meat soup. He's also conscious of what he consumes because he does work as a model and knowing that his job as an exorcist requires a lot of running, at least in his case.
Despite liking berries, it gets hard for him to manage its life dependency with such a packed schedule, so he instantly came to like the idea of frozen yogurt barks. Generally, he tends to keep things light, so this was the perfect compromise. He'd prepare frozen yogurt barks in the morning, which was something simple enough to do in just a few minutes, and it'll be ready to be devoured after a long day. They can be both sweet and sour, and overall a simply chill dessert to relax with while he can freely move around his apartment as he checks on his plants.

Background Story
Glowing flowers, floating lilypads, talking trees, elegant wings, Eclage is a magical place where only the imagination could perceive, and a completely separate dimension that is devoid of humans. Here, nature is very much alive, whilst the flow of time works in a mysterious manner, and by all accounts, this enigmatic realm is kept in reserve. Its inhibitants of all kinds, most of them fairies known as the Laphines, are responsible for keeping things in a good flow under the reign of their leader, titled the Mayor Jun. It is here where the unknown serves as the known, while the known remains unknown, and it is here where this story about self discovery begins.
Born in Eclage with an out-worldly imagination, all Soleis would ever do was to wonder about all things non-Alfheim and question all things Alfheim. With curiosity so foreign ever since he was a young fairy, this in return managed to cause a discombobulation amongst the Laphine race. In light of how deeply sacred wisdom in Eclage is, they were less keen of the possibility of Soleis being chosen as the next Mayor Jun as it is that Mayor Juns are selected not by birthright, but by completely at random amongst the Donas Laphines should they show signs of being special. They were worried that his provocative mind would disrupt the memories of their future kings and disrespect the previous ones, so naturally, he started to gain an unlikeable reputation over time, and although it started off harmless, it gradually turned into a harsh reality that the other Laphines would much rather act rather hostile towards him altogether.
Unlike other Laphines who were more in tune with nature, Soleis possesses a natural affinity for water and he would often show off what he could do with it. This however, was mere child-like curiosity and produced no results until a Laphine guard came across a pile of foreign items in the forest, notably where Soleis had been using his magic to open up portals without knowing what they were. Needless to say, the news went straight to the current Major Jun and strict orders were given to keep Soleis isolated from the rest of the community in respect of his father, who served under the Mayor Jun as a royal guard for hundreds of years. Ever decided to give up his duty entirely and relocated the family to a secluded area by a beach, where they would continue to have the freedom to raise their only son. Despite losing the friends he once had, Soleis grew up in a peaceful environment with his loving parents who continued to shape him into who he is today. Unfortunately, life for this humble Laphine family did not last long enough.
ww
Soleis was left to watch his parents corpses transform, the wild plants slowly engulfing a part of their home and made its way into the edge of ocean. From there on, he awaited patiently for them to glow, unsure if they ever would considering that they were no longer alive, but it was something he, as a young Laphine, had secretly hoped for, so that it would make him feel less lonely. However, his grieving was cut short by the royal guards who upon hearing the news of Ever and Uiara's tragic passings, used this very reason to forcefully remove Soleis from his home and placed him behind bars in suspicion for murder. Considering he was still young at the time, he calmly went along with it as to not cause any sort of clamour.
Naturally, this abrupt arrest did not sit too well with some of the royal guards due to Soleis' age. Controversy was being whispered here and there, debating whether he actually was capable of performing such an act and some of the Laphines who used to know him did not think so, but overall, they agree that he was rather strange to begin with and that the Mayor Jun's orders were final.

His father started having affairs, while his mother struggled to keep things together. During that stressful phase, Frappe's life flipped from being his father's favourite to being his mother's target of abuse. Eventually, both parents gave in to their drinking habits and in the end, abandoned the brothers altogether. Home wasn't home anymore and witnessing his father leave that one night shattered a huge part of him. Alas, they couldn't afford to continue living there without monetary support, so Boba set them all on a ship to Prontera to start anew. In order to keep supporting the family, Lorraine works longer hours at the bar and even indulges in the attention of her customers, which leaves a stressed Kir at home with their children. In a similar vein, Kir hasn't been able to land any writing contracts nor finish any sort of literature work. He quickly turns to the bottle and becomes more and more daring at having his own affairs at home without a care in the world if the children are around to witness it. Boba does his best to try and keep his brothers safe.
It didn't take long for the family to fall apart.
The move was undoubtedly stressful and they were depending on inns for shelter until they could find a proper place to stay. As he broke away once in a while to be on his own, Frappe quickly figured out that people seemed to find pleasure in using him and his body, which did fill up the desperate longing he was craving for, so he indulged in it even if it was merely a temporary fix. He started to shamelessly accept every praise, gift and touch these strangers had to offer. However, being young and careless, he unfortunately ended up in a near overdosed situation after being sexually abused and left unconscious in the apartment next door for a distraught Boba to find. A panic lock down on Frappe was enforced with Boba disallowing him to leave the home and watch after Rourou like he was supposed to, which he actually obeyed and spent his days reading as he tried to recall what had happened that night apart from recognizing the feeling that he liked it and that he couldn't talk about it. Satisfied by Frappe being mellow, Boba then pushed for him to become a Merchant at 12 and arranged a job for him the moment he gets back from Alberta. Eventually, all the dictating as a pseudo parent started to frustrate Frappe even more, but he took the opportunity to socialize openly and from there on, learned to entice people. Once he was confident in what he was doing, he abandoned the job Boba had gotten him in favor of sleeping around for money instead. As soon as Boba found out, they had a huge argument, which ended up in Frappe getting hit for the first time and running off. This mistake led him right into Narshan's hands - a High Priest who took advantage of the fragile situation that ended up right at the doorsteps of his Church.
Narshan had no qualms in using Frappe's confessions against him. Knowing that he had no parents to worry if he were to go missing was merely an advantage and he held him captive for his own twisted desires. He proceeded to manipulate Frappe's loneliness and subjected his body to continuous sexual abuse as a means for him to cope with it. Fortunately, if it wasn't for his siblings desperate search for him, he would've continued to remain in captivity. Narshan had Frappe released after two months, but it was more than enough to secure a long lasting effect on him. Although he wasn't a prisoner anymore, the sudden lack of physical contact was overwhelming and Frappe would often return to Narshan for the same treatment in order to stop feeling empty. The pain and the healing blended together became an addiction and it numbed him further into dependency. This elevated the High Priest's ego and greed, continuing to involve terrible people in the abuse for money - and sooner or later, the rumor involving Frappe's prostitution piqued the interest of a certain Mastersmith in the area, Jamadhar.
Upon confirming the rumor, Jamadhar proceeded to set a trap to lure Narshan to his death and claim Frappe as his own. Despite the danger he had unknowingly gotten himself into, Frappe wanted to be owned and accepted it with ease, sealing the deal with a tattoo as Jamadhar's host club brand. The man then "promoted" Frappe to Blacksmith at 17 and he began doing what he does best under tight lock and key - performing better and better with every attention he received. The facade of having his father figure back seemed to bring out his once lively and honest personality again, coupled with his years of sexual experiences, made him an often requested companion and a huge asset to Jamadhar's business. Frappe definitely made it clear that he wasn't going to leave and his owner is aware of it, therefore he allows him to freely return home after his quota is done for the day.
Now 21, Frappe continues to perform as a sex worker for the high end host club in the upscale part of Prontera named Flora & Fauna, seeing that the pay helps his family and he feels secure, but his comfortably enclosed space is being tested between appeasing one of Jamadhar's bodyguards, Samir, who holds a threat over him involving his brothers and the small taste of freedom a recent genuine client, Nikolaos, has to offer.

Relationships
Assigned under Cyneburg's mentorship, their relationship started off rough due to the unwillingness on her behalf, but she came to realize that Soleis genuinely wanted to receive her training even with the complications of his magic. He is aware of her uptight and bossy nature, but after spending a lot of time with her, all he sees is a fiercely passionate and caring person who tries a little too hard to look tough. He puts a generous amount of trust in her and allows her to dictate what he can and cannot do to a fault, ultimately obeying her even if it doesn't feel quite right. He presents her with Mother's Day flowers as an annual appreciation and takes her out to fancy dinners whenever he can afford to, knowing that she loves it. He calls her Cyne (sai-nee).
Considering he was actively trying to learn how to become an exorcist, Andacht's capabilities drew Soleis' attention in and he started developing a fondness for his presence. His antics feed his curiosity to no end and the more he indulges in his mischief, the more he feels attracted to it. While there's still respect, Soleis never fails to look at him and a part of him desires for the gesture to be returned. He calls him Anda (ahn-da).

Both Cyriacus and Soleis grew up under the protection of Prontera Church's orphanage, so it was natural for them to grow close. Not only was Cyriacus more adept with the ways of being an Acolyte, but he's also approachable and helpful, which encourages Soleis to depend on him even after they leave the Church to live on their own. Upon noticing that Cyriacus' confidence is lacking as deer, he gifts him flowers to help him feel more comfortable in his own skin. He often seeks him out for advice, plus he genuinely enjoys how open Cyriacus is with him, especially when it comes to gossiping leisurely considering he does like being able to be observant of humans. They shared an apartment until Cyriacus ends up moving out to marry his childhood friend, Venant. He calls him Cia (see-ya).

Nikolaos' mature presence drew Soleis in, feeling validated when he too showed interest in return, and just like that it was like love at first sight. Unfortunately, they dated while his mentorship under Cyneburg was still in its infancy and because the training was extra tough to keep up with, he had no choice, but to cut the relationship short even though things were going very well between them. After attempting a second go at it, they ultimately came to a conclusion that they have different goals in life, and the relationship would end up hurting each other in the long run. They remain close friends and Soleis understands his search for commitment, further wishing him all the happiness he deserves, even if he wishes he could be the one for him. He still wears the floral bracelet Nikolaos gifted him even when they're not together anymore and there is a sentimental value to it knowing that Nikolaos too, continues to wear the handmade bracelet he had gifted him in return.
Soleis became acquainted with Aloysius while being in a relationship with Nikolaos, and from what he can tell of him, he had an impressive reputation in Prontera for doing War of Emperium. Although Aloysius doesn't seem too welcoming or interested in starting a conversation with him, Soleis manages to keep calm and continue to coax him into topics about his family and his success, which Aloysius was more than happy to indulge in. He wouldn't mind going to watch his matches sometime in order to support him.

How lucky I am, to have something
that makes saying goodbye so hard.
Soleis Novikov
Personality Traits
- Bodies of water
- Seafood and tofu
- Frozen yogurt
- Bohemian style decor
- A nest of soft pillows
- Aggressive animals
- Sudden pain
- Spicy food
- Hot weather
- Uncomfortable resting places
- Making someone's day
- Giving gifts
- Celebrating the holidays
- Visiting the beach
- Compliments, specifically "handsome"
- Soleis now uses the Twin Edge of Naght Sieger, a relic weapon he managed to discover and intended to return to Eclage, but decided to keep and learn to wield himself. Similar to his previous weapon, he still conjures the water element using it, whilst in an offensive manner with the help of the training he received from Cyneburg and Junaidi while he was stripped off his access to magic. This change gives him more confidence in his fighting style as he is able to enhance it by utilizing his supportive skills.

Background Story
There is a fresh gust of sea breeze, gently blowing along the shoreline, accompanied by the sound of peaceful seagulls as the steadily flowing waves touch the pure white sands of the neverending beach. Jawaii is and has always been a place of both tranquility to the locals as well as enjoyment to its tourists. It is here where love is widely recognized as a prevalent theme with marriages being a common event, and it is here where this story about love begins.
Bellini parents, Kir and Lorraine, met at a gathering hosted by a group of friends at the infamous bar in Jawaii and unexpectedly fell for one another, so much so that they wasted no time in becoming an item. They had their first child, Boba, who was a surprise and conceived out of wedlock. Kir and Lorraine were not well off by any means, but like many young a couple, they had idealistic hopes that things will eventually get better, even though in the eyes of their friends, they were far from ready to start a family. However, they still received the support they needed and decided to officially tie the knot a few years later, whereby Frappe was born as the middle child of three boys. Frappe is considered their firstborn after marriage and because of that, he is treated a little more special.
Spoiled from the get-go, Frappe instantly became Kir's favourite to spend time with. He was the epitome of every father's ideal child, constantly accompanying him with pleasantry and diligently following in his footsteps, which not only made Kir proud, but it also fed his growing ego. In contrast to Frappe's situation, the rest of the brothers were hardly being treated nice at all. Boba in particular, was told to give in to Frappe's whims and demands, and similarly, abide to Kir's every command. This puts a strain on the brothers' relationship very early on in their lives, but he was too young to realize that he was being groomed for the worst. To Frappe, his father was a great parent who showered him with much needed attention, despite what other people had to say about him and he loved his father wholeheartedly, perhaps a little more than a son normally would.
It didn't take long for the ideal family image the Bellinis had once envisioned to fall apart. As Rourou's birth took place, so did their depleting finances, which were quickly becoming an obvious issue. In order to keep supporting the family, Lorraine took it upon herself to work longer hours at the bar, whilst indulging in the attention of her customers as a way to escape her troubles, leaving a stressed Kir at home with their children for longer hours each time. In a similar vein, Kir had not been able to land any writing contracts nor finish any sort of literature work for all that time is spent on either himself or his children. He bitterly turned to the bottle and became more and more daring at having his own affairs at home without a care in the world if the children were around to witness it. Boba did his best to try and keep his brothers safe because as it is, he was basically the only one left to take care of Frappe and Rourou.
However, regardless of what Kir did, Frappe continuously defended him, purely out of the love he had for his father. Kir, in return, merely saw this as a twisted opportunity to cross the line between a father and son, and started to sexually groom Frappe behind closed doors in order to cater to his own selfish needs. From there on, Kir and Frappe developed an incestuous relationship, which was easily glazed over as it was not out of the ordinary to find Kir pampering Frappe on a daily basis. After all, he had successfully conditioned the family to not question him as their authorative figure. Tension between the brothers grew even more and it was strong enough to frustrate Boba to the point that he overlooked the red flags Frappe seemed to be showing. This leaves Frappe completely dependent and vulnerable in his father's own hands, and willingly so, with Frappe being happier than ever to be considered special to Kir. He was eager to please him since this earns him praises in return, and because of that, he managed to keep their dark secret very well hidden from the rest of the family that entire year.

Alas, they couldn't afford to continue living there without monetary support, so Boba set them all on a ship to Prontera to start anew.

Relationships
Seemingly polar opposites in everything they do, coupled with the numerous times of them bumping heads, Soleis could hardly fathom the sort of gratification that he feels from being around Kazimir. Regardless, every moment they spend together, is spent passionately and their adventure-starved hearts match each other's energy. As someone who has never quite been someone's important person, it baffles him to be recognized as an equal in someone's eyes, let alone someone as ruthless as Kazimir, but the vulnerability he witnesses in return, helps Soleis to stop questioning himself and completely let his feelings run rampant. Perhaps this once, he's allowed to believe that he's capable of being loved unconditionally, and for once, allowing himself to hold onto it for as long as he continues to live. His favourite thing about him is that he never fails to hold him when he sleeps and the way Kazimir can just tell how he feels.
