About
It's Mx. Izar's first year teaching a class of their very own! Before, they'd run around all the elementary schools working as a substitute teacher. They loved their job, but they always thought about how much fun they'd have teaching a class. So, when a position opened up for a fifth grade teacher, they took it! It's been a bit hectic, but they've got a good bunch of students- as well as some very friendly coworkers! Particularly Mx. Rahman, who their class has been paired with for the book buddies program!

Backstory
Mx. Venus Izar decided to become a teacher on something of a whim. They were a semester into college, major undecided, absolutely no clue what to do with their life... really, they just realized they had fun while in school. So, why not keep doing that? But being a college professor sounded exhausting... and they didn't really want to teach teens either. So, elementary school it was!

A teacher for the younger grades and their partner for the book buddies program! Ze's just an absolute delight to be around- it'd be nice if they could hang out more outside of work hours.
Ms. Abadi [ best friend ]
An extracurricular teacher, as well as their oldest and dearest friend! She's probably a big part of the reason why they managed to land this job, so they're quite grateful to her!
Coach Tran [ coworker :) ]
An extracurricular teacher... honestly, ae's not that bad, not that they'd ever tell aer that. They enjoy their company, so long as aer focus isn't on them.
