Flexible, Trustworthy, Hardworking --- Cocky, Emotional (Emo), Mannerless
Cyril is somebody people tend to avoid, which is exactly what he wants. He wants nothing to do with people, and yet people tend to show up in his life. When he’s not at his apartment, he’s working at the Burger Bar, as a host. He hates his job and everything about it, but nevertheless it brings in the cash he needs for the rent. He comes off as dark and emotional (emo), and can be pretty cocky to those he knows well. Despite his more unsavory traits, however, he is very trustworthy and a hard worker… even if he doesn’t like the work. He’s definitely a character who may or may not draw a little too much attention to himself after moving to Puffer Point.
Cyril was born in Ocrea to very prominent parents, the Royal Advisor and the treasury accountant. However, because his parents held very prominent positions within the realm, they barely spent time with him. He was often alone, either with the butlers and nannies that took care of him or all by himself. All the while, he yearned for his parents affection, but they never seemed to remain at home for too long. As time went on and as he got older, he began to resent his parents and negative feelings began to surface in his personality. He never could make any friends in school and he pushed away most people that tried to get close to him. Many people gave him excuses, saying he was going through that ‘phase’ in life, but that phase never really went away, even after he graduated.
At this point in his life, his parents had finally decided to try and help their son concerning making something of himself, something of which he had no idea what he wanted, but he knew he didn’t want his parents meddling in that decision. So, after about a week of them hounding him and trying to act as if they were one big happy family, he up and left, leaving Ocrea for another dimension, one where he knew a few of the Hocreans that were currently residing there.
Linus was someone that Cyril was acquainted with and Wattan was someone Cyril tolerated, and so he traveled to Puffer Point and moved in with the Librarian and the Detective, who were at the time he moved in, roommates. Since then he’s been working at the Burger Bar as a host and hopes to, one day, move into a place of his own and get a better job. Right now, it keeps him away from home… and as much as he won’t admit it, he’s starting to like the company he’s got.

1.Can actually see out of both eyes, he just wears the eyepatch because heterochromia is jarring to most people. It’s a mesh patch so he can see out of it, mostly.
2.A cold-blooded creature, so he has, like, 8 blankets on his bed at all times. More in the winter.
