Luca
Luca is the sage that maintains the automated system known as "Life". As the sage that governs over life his role is to watch over life processes and ensure the machine known as "humanity" continues to hum away peacefully. In being the maintainer of life, he also must see that process come to a close, as such he also is the one that watches over death as well. He does lord over all life, but humanity is the dominant life on the planet, it requires the most maintenance

A happy go lucky sage, but in the same respect a bit of a recluse. He takes interest in a few humans and then will stay with them for their life. As the sage of life he's the only one really interested in biological manners, Given his position as the sage that governs life he's also the sage of death, but doesn't worry too much about that and enjoys each moment with the humans he watches.
Feelings Towards Humanity
As the sage of life, he generally has a positive outlook towards humanity. He wants to see them break past the boundary of their planet and see the stars, and once they do he'll go with them no matter where they go. He will admit that not all parts of humanity are shining beacons, but will go to great lengths to enjoy the good parts. Should he find someone trying to cheat the system or expose secrets of how life works his title of "Life" quickly changes to "Death"
Relationships with the other Sages
Seres - Where as other sages get annoyed with Seres' presence, in this case it is Seres is actively annoyed with Luca. Mostly because of Luca's chipper personality. Luca won't get bothered with Seres' constant predictions of what he'll do next. Luca isn't fun for Seres to be around.
Sahji - Sahji and Luca are on good terms. They both want to see humanity progress to the next level and enjoy the humans they grow attached to. Sahji does wear thin pretty quickly from Luca's seemingly endless optimism though.
Kitori - The only sage Luca has a bad relationship with. Kitori's entire being is around conflict, which can lead to war, which leads to massive death. Despite Luca being an embodiment of the life cycle itself, he does not like seeing people suffer and war is the worst side of humanity which puts him at odds with Kitori. Plus whenever Kitori is around Luca (which isn't very frequently) he constantly puts the Life sage down for being too happy.
Lanvi - These two get along very well. Lanvi enjoys the variety of life that Luca brings to the land and Luca enjoys the land that she allows life to thrive on. She also isn't bothered by Luca's happy-go-lucky attitude
Marovo - This is like a sibling relationship. Luca provides bountiful life to the seas and Marovo seeks to protect that life. Since life originated in the sea, Marovo sees themselves as the older sibling to Luca, a role Luca is more than happy to accept.
Cielto - They have a working relationship. Cielto doesn’t mind the birds and insects that inhabit the skies, though he's a bit wary about humans flying through the sky. Luca looks up to Cielto as a guardian of the planet almost since the atmosphere protects life from the viciousness of space.
How do they treat their muse:
Luca won't hesitate to show it to anyone who asks, though he won't allow others to touch it, especially the polished surface, as he feels its disrespectful towards life to mar the polished surface of the soul
Soul Reflect
A shield shaped muse with a surface polished to the point of being a mirror. Gazing upon the mirror's surface will show the true nature of the one looking upon its surface no matter how good the illusion. This doesn't just apply to physical illusions but spiritual possessions as well as mental delusions. While the Soul Reflect shows an image, it doesn't explain anything and not even the holder of this muse knows what its visions mean.
Lontano Island
A lonely island in the Desola Ocean. This island up until modern times was said to be a mirage. It's other name is "The Island at the Edge of the World". This island is where Luca himself takes up his residence. He seems to hold a special place in his heart for this little spit of land at the far reaches of the world. Perhaps its due to his reclusive nature, or another thing entirely? Only those close to him know the truth.
It is said those who have near-death experiences will wash up on this island and can only leave once they've been revived. Those who visit the island (whether in a near death state or otherwise) experience intense feelings of nostalgia. Some credit this due to the island's status as the life sage's home. Others state the unique ocean currents carrying sediments from all over the world make it essentially "humanity's home away from home".
Sage Luca's Blessing
Although not a traditional holiday, Sage Luca's day is a day where many single boys and girls work up the courage to confess their love. It's considered good luck to get a reciprocal as the relationship is said to have the "Blessing of the life sage himself". Rejections on this day are actually lighter than other times of the year, the common thing to say being "Thank you Luca for sparing my heart." since one of the teachings of Luca himself is not to love for superficial reasons. Additionally this is a very popular day to get married or divorced for similar reasons.
Despite the heavily implication of love, non-romantic personal vows or oaths are also quite popular on this day.
