| [Origins] | Matthew was born in a small city in the middle of England where he has lived for his entire life. Most of his family is from here but a bunch moved overseas. |

| [Body] | Matthew is very lanky and tall, however a few parts of him are muscular, particularly his upper arms and legs but everywhere else is fairly average. He isn't as broad shouldered as most guys. |

| [Parents] | Matthew lives with both of his parents, they get a long pretty well, he mostly takes after his father who is tall and looks a little scary. He has his mothers eyes. His mother stays at home for health reasons whilst his father works in an office. |

| [Other Family] | [John:] Matthew's cousin who lives in the USA. The two get along really well, Matthew could say he's more of a best friend than family. When the two get to visit each other, they go a bit crazy, Matthew more than John, John actually being the more reasonable and responsible one of the two. Matthew trusts John with his life and usually talks to him when he's troubled, usually these troubles include Rupert. A lot of the time when John thinks Matthew has made a mistake, he acts as his voice of reason, Matthew would be lost without him. Matthew however does not approve of John's boyfriend. |
| [Friends:] | [Rupert:] Matthew's first friend after scaring pretty much every one else away. He met Rupert in detention one afternoon and noticed he was playing video games, curious he started talking to him and asking questions, eventually they found they share a fondness for a lot of the same games. Matthew is aware of Rupert's mental state, however he's a bit unsure how to handle it, he does know that it's the reason Rupert doesn't go out alone much (/rarely at all) but he will go out if someone is with him, so he does that and helps him run errands, the emotional side of it is a completely foreign concept to Matthew, he isn't always able to tell if something is troubling Rupert or anything like that so sometimes he's a little insensitive but it's never on purpose. In school, Matthew has noticed people bullying Rupert and has jumped to try beat the heck out of those people, at that time Matthew says he thinks Rupert needs protecting so he'll protect try protect him (He gets embarrassed when/if this story is told). Matthew gets along with Rupert however he gets easily annoyed at Rupert's attitude sometimes when he just doesn't seem to care about anything when they are trying to spend time together and hang out, he does enjoy his time with Rupert quite a lot, often the only times you see him smile and laugh. Over time and they grew older, his feelings towards him started to get confusing, eventually during one night where Rupert broke down, Matthew felt pained watching him break down in tears, he couldn't bare seeing Rupert in this state so in the moment, the only thing he could think of was to kiss him. The kiss worked but it was completely impulsive at the time and he feels pretty awkward about it.. He has been unable to look Rupert in the eye since and doesn't like to talk about it, often snapping in anger when some one brings it up, but this hasn't stopped it from happening more than once. Matthew is a caring friend, he's just not sure how to handle things sometimes and acts on protective instinct. Whilst close, Rupert doesn't actually tell Matthew what's troubling him and keeps that from him, thinking he wouldn't understand or he might get angry. About a year after these incidences started happening, Matthew made a more bolder move one night when the two got home late from a day out and the two became intimate, however this just made their relationship more complicated and began to question his sexuality more as well as what this meant for their friendship. One of the days he insists that what is going on between them isn't love and that friends shouldn't be doing this and it's better that they stopped - he later reinforced this by dating a girl, breaking Ruperts heart. However, after having some space between him and Rupert and spending more time with his girlfriend, he began to feel lonely, like his heart was aching for some one else, it was later when he figured out it was Rupert that he missed and made him feel this way. [Oliver:] Matthew's other friend which he found in college in similar circumstances as Rupert. He found Oliver during a gaming night on college campus, he has arrived early to get a good seat and a console and to his surprise, Oliver was already there – he later found out Oliver had gamed all night - curious like he was, he started questioning and bugging Oliver about the games he played, Matthew told him he reminds him of a friend of his who he'd probably get along with, making a snarky comment about Rupert's unmotivated and uncaring attitude sometimes. After a few attempts, he managed to get both of them together for gaming and like he thought, Rupert and Oliver got along pretty well. These days Matthew's friendship with him is a bit rocky, Olive more or less tolerates Matthew and gets pretty annoyed at him easily. Matthew gets lectured a lot by Oliver about how he isn't considerate towards Rupert and how he feels, especially since he knows when something happens (Rupert tells him). Matthew is annoyed at Oliver for this, he doesn't understand what he did wrong, thinking to himself that he just wanted to help him. Oliver is currently pissed at Matthew for messing Rupert around. |
| [Acquaintances] | [Aiden:] Matthew has mixed feelings about Aiden, he's only met him a couple of times and knows he's Oliver's little brother which makes him wonder what type of person he really is (since he knows very little about him!) |
Other:
| [Job] | Matthew works part time at a local supermarket for 24 hours each week. His parents don't charge board so he gets to keep his wage which he uses to run his car. |
| [Life Goals] | There is a lot Matthew wants to do in life, such a travelling, getting his own place, getting a well paid full time job and to be a pro gamer. |
| [Hobbies] | One of main hobbies is video gaming, when he's not working or bothering Rupert, he's gaming. He'll try any genre and games, he really loves most gritty and RPG games. He doesn't have many other hobbies, his does dedicate himself to video games. He likes to travel when he can, discovering places could be considered a little hobby. |
| [Likes] | When he's not gaming, he likes to be on his feet, out and about. He loves the outdoors, especially on nice sunny weather. |
| [Loves] | He adores his video games more than anything. Matthew also really enjoys fun fairs. |
| [Dislikes] | He has a low tolerance for other people, easily annoyed by them, disliking when they're in his way or ruining his day, he'll often over react, especially if they make psychical contact with him, he tends to visit quiet places if he can. He's not fond of others touching him, including nudges, hand shakes, hugs etc (With the one exception *cough*). He dislikes his parents lack of boundaries since they like to just walk into his room. |
| [Fears] | There isn't much Matthew fears - or would admit to. He has a fear of needles and unknown feelings make him rather uneasy. |
| [Good Qualities] | He's loud, cocky, angry, hates people, doesn't understand others and quick to pick a fight - But he does have good qualities, he's a really loyal friend, he might not be someone you'd want to be friends with people he'll stick up for them. His passion for the things he loves is something to be admired too. He can stick up for himself too and shows a lot of confidence. |
| [Bad Habits] | His angry side will always be a bad habit, he'll sometimes seek conflict, he doesn't do it on purpose but it happens a lot. He has a bad habits of not thinking about others and puts what he wants to do first. He also has a bad habit on getting on Oliver's bad side when he does something stupid with Rupert. |
| [Strengths] | As mentioned, he's confident, he excels at his job because of it and whilst not fond of people, he isn't afraid to walk up to them and talk. |

| [Personality:] | Matthew generally has a cold personality, he comes across as moody and some what angry towards other people, he describes himself as some one who likes to be left alone and dislikes the company of other people, which can come across as surprising since it was him who approach his current friends. A poor attitude like that only leads to bad things, a good example being that he sometimes gets into fights with people who get on his bad side because of his short temper. Not to say he doesn't have a pleasant side, you just have to bring it out in him and gradually get closer to him. |
History: -wip-
| [History] | Growing up, Matthew lead a fairly average life, went to school, college and even got a job with very few problems, apart from one; He didn't really get along with people, snapping at other students at school didn't earn him very many points at school and because of it he did get detention a lot. It was because of detention though that he met his one and only friend, Rupert who also ended up in detention a few times but for very different reasons. At first the pair didn't get along, even to the present day they still can be seen getting annoyed at each other, but as time went on, they found reasons to get along and before they knew it, some how they had become friends. It helped that their common interests gave them something to talk about and share but their personalities tend to cause clashes, whilst both are pretty different, they are both really stubborn. Matthew has only shown his softer side to Rupert or because of Rupert, Rupert had a tendency to be the target of bullies and it was normally Matthew who came to his rescue, showing that he cared enough to protect his friend. Matthew and Rupert have been friends ever since high school, roughly 9-10 years or driving each other crazy. |
Fun Facts:
- He's an only child
- Smiles around the people he gets along with because he does smile!
- Likes chocolate muffins, he'll love you forever if you give him one.
- Matthew has broken Rupert's glasses before and almost dropped his MP3 player in the outside drains. You don't trust him with your belongings, he's kinnda clumsy with them.
- He has a soft spot for puppies.
- He ended the so-called 'relationship' he had with Rupert so they could continue/go back to being friends.
- Currently in an out of relationships. He's single and trying to mingle/ignore what happened between him and Rupert.
- The random guy in the last image in the gallery is non-canon to this universe so please ignore him. (That image came with Matthew when I obtained him and is no longer associated with Matthew.)
- Matthew is supposedly straight, he's normally attracted to women, causing a lot of confused feelings for Matthew.
- In Overwatch, he mains Winston.
- Being friends with him is like being with an angry wrecking ball, he breaks things a lot, usually by accident, sometimes on purpose. He's just plain clumsy tbh.
