Demon!AU Matthew:
Matthew is a demon and like all the demons in this universe, he has two main forms; A lower form that has a human-like appearance (ie; Human head, human torso) but with demon-like features (like horns, tail etc), in Matthew's case, his demon like features are two short horns on the top of his head, a long dragon like tail, dark fur like arms and legs and some other features. His other main form, his 'perfect form', he turns into a 8ft dark bear like demonic beast, in this form his build becomes bigger and broader, his entire body had some sort of fur all over it, his horns are longer and sharper as well as some spikes around his face and the top of his muzzle, he also gains black fangs at the sides of his mouth and a dark halo. Both forms have wings, Matthew has 4 wings.
Matthew frequents the human lands, it's not uncommon for demons to roam around but one of the days he ended up in a battle against another demon who went by the name 'Joker' and ended up getting badly injured, falling and collapsing in the ally way in a quiet town. It was here where a young human boy found him, he must have only be 5 years of age, the young boy asked if he was okay but Matthew 'tskd' and turned away, too proud to admit he was defeated and injured. Too stubborn to answer, the boy treated him any way, wrapping fabric around his cuts to stop the bleeding. Matthew watched curiously as the young boy treated him, it was strange, not only because humans aren't meant to see demons but the boy wasn't scared of him. Matthew bared his fangs and deeply growled, "Are you not afraid of me?" the boy said nothing but he did shake his head slowly. Matthew's attempts intimidation quickly faded, too weak from his wounds and eventually he passed out. He later woke up and the boy was curled up next to him sleeping. He debated being nasty but at the same time felt a warmth of gratitude, some how.. he felt happy. But a kid that age shouldn't be around demons, it was dangerous that he could see him in the first place and that put him in danger - So he left.
He never saw the boy again.
22 years later, he returned to the town on business, almost completely forgetting he had once visited this town before. Whilst passing through, he caught a scent that he recognised and it bothered him until he saw the person the scent was coming from .. it was the boy! Well, he was taller... a lot more lanky and tired looking but that smell, it had to be him. He didn't move for a moment and then the man's eyes met with him and his eyes widened, the demon he thought he only dreamt about was suddenly in front of him again. Matthew noticed that he had been spotted, there was no doubt.. the kind little boy that helped him all those years ago, was now a grown human man..
- His original name was Matthaios but in a modern age, he starting going by Matthew, it also reminded him less of his past life.
- It is said that his perfect form's wings could block out the sun (they don't really but his wings are pretty huge)
- Matthew originally wasn't a demon and is considered an fallen angel but his class changed to demon after he fully transformed into something darker.
- His perfect form is based on a bear.
- His perfect form takes a lot of energy to maintain, he usually has to feed on others energy to maintain it.
- He doesn't kill, just bites and absorbs energy. It makes a human feel tired and sleep for a few days.
- Spends most of his time in his lower form to save energy, only tends to change forms in self defence or certain activities.
- His voice becomes a lot deeper in his perfect form and he drools a lot like a rabid beast.
- The change from his lower form to his perfect form isn't instant, it's a steady (not slow) transformation, sort of like a werewolf.
