At birth, she was given up for adoption, shortly after celebrating her third birthday she was adopted by an older couple who lived in a cabin far into the forest. Growing up Dahlia was taught gardening techniques and taught how to cook, bake, sew and keep bees, her days were spent gardening, picking flowers, and baking. Dahlia and her mother spend their weekends in the city where they sell the produce and honey that is straight from their backyard and made with love. The farmers market is where Dahlia met some of her closest friends, she is very protective over them and will move mountains for them, she wants to fill the mother figure for them that she never truly got with her birth mother.

Late one night Dahlia was getting ready for bed when she noticed a small pink blob out of the corner of her eye. This was star who had just fallen from the clouds and down to earth. After a short story later, Dahlia took Star under her wing and the two are now best friends, they don't go a day without one another.
