This demon did not begin his semi-immortality like many other demons. He was raised from the mud at an unknown point in time after his human self had undergone a terrible ritual that took his life. His memory was fuzzy, and all he knew was the hatred he had for the sister that put him through it. A proper demon found him and decided to raise him into the perfect pawn that would fill a position of power for them. After an unknown number of years, he became a king that could not be easily contested in either power nor strategy. Anyone who opposed him would disappear, and no one knew enough information about him to effectively face him. He was mysterious and merciless, and the fear people had for him kept him an uncontended authority. Despite his terrifying reputation, he did rule effectively and life in his kingdom was not bad at all. He was a fair and unbiased judge in most affairs, and worked with advisors and citizens to improve all systems of demon society. His kingdom wasn't perfect, but his citizens generally held him in a good light despite his reputation, and respected him for the work he put in as king.

The personality that he exuded to everyone was a proper and gentlemanly disposition, appearing with a smile or at ease. He looked thoughtful and polite, though held a brave and noble stance. In actuality, he was a bit more like what people feared him to be. When pushed to the limit in less formal settings, his dark and disgusted interior spilled out. He was sadistic at heart and had a general hatred for other people. He trusted no one, and no one was able to get within a mile of his heart except for the one who raised him. This actually meant that no one knew about this inner self save for a few advisors and others who worked closed to him, as he would sometimes mumble dark words under his breath with a smile.

He was seen as a powerful demonic ruler with a suave persona, leading his citizens with a scale and an iron fist. He was an unknown entity to most, but his mysterious aura hid dangerous secrets. Liches were seen as a lesser existence than normal demons, weaker, and basically on the level of humans. He would be overrun and destroyed without hesitation if another demon found out. Due to this, he had always put forth that he was a regular demon, and he extensively trained for his entire demonic life, aiming to be as strong as possible in order to protect himself from any circumstance. He may not have shown it, but he put a ton of work and effort into keeping up with appearances and being one step ahead of all his foes.

On the surface it looked like he was focused on fulfilling the role he was raised to do, but underneath it all his only goal since the beginning had been to find his sister and destroy her. Even if she was already dead, he was still driven to find her by his unquenchable need for vengeance. And recently, he had learned of a new lead that suggested that she was still alive and doing harm to others in the mortal realm...
