Vic’s a dad! Probably a grandpa at this point, honestly. He’s gruff but generally good-natured, and he enjoys offering “wisdom” to the other members of his team. He’s never had much battle experience–which is why he’s never evolved into Venomoth–but when he overheard Carol and Zach talking in the woods one day, he decided he wanted to change that! Vic’s successfully raised several clutches of eggs in the deepest part of the woods, but recently, a group of shady humans have been invading this territory, catching Pokemon who had no desire to leave the wild. Their exact purposes aren’t clear, but Vic knows he doesn’t like it. He decided to join Carol and Zach partially because he found them interesting, but another big motivator was trying to investigate the humans that are going places they don’t belong. He also can’t pretend that he isn’t interested in battling; he’s never tried it before! He’s curious!
