Grii is a 17 year old Inkling that lives in the suburbs of Inkopolis, living in a small house that she inherited from her grandmother after graduating high school early. She doesn't quite know what career path to follow after graduating high school.
When she was at a low point in her life, she met Cap’n Cuttlefish and Agent 3 of the NSS who gave her encouraging words. A little while later, she briefly joins the NSS as Agent 4 as she felt she owed it to them. However, after a near brush with death when she tried to prove herself by securing a zapfish (when she wasn’t asked to), she quit the NSS right after. However, that wasn’t the full truth of why she had quit.
Grii had found herself face to face with an Octoling adversary, who was equipped with a deadly poison known as Black Ink. The Octoling was good at heart, it turns out, as she spared Grii and destroyed her own weapon. The Octoling, named Tenta, had failed to prove her loyalty to the Octarian Army and was attacked with Black Ink instead. Not wanting to leave the injured Tenta behind, Grii warded off her attacker and rescued Tenta, quitting the NSS to keep everything a secret as Tenta recovered.Compassionate . Spacey . Credulous
Grii is 6'0", has dark brown skin and yellow eyes, and is on the heavier side of most Inklings. When she's not wearing goggles, she has a tiny bang on the top of her head.
- Grii has a fondess for Judd, and can occasionally be seen sneaking him some treats.
- She has a sensitivity to sound, and while it benefits her in Turf Wars, she can be overstimulated by sound easily.
- She tends to hide her face due to shyness.
- Her ear flicks when she's embarrassed or annoyed.
- She owns a good handful of movies, comics, and videogames that she likes to engage with in her downtime.
