Name Thorn
Called Blue
Age Adult

Race Hallowed Grimm
Role Wanderer

Thorn is - pun very much intended - a lone wolf. He was raised in a near-savage pack in the wilds of Zephyros, favouring their Warg forms over their 'regular' bodies. Ever since he discovered the disturbing discord existing in civilisation, Thorn has been wandering Below on his own, hoping to form a deeper connection with the world around him. Thorn welcomes the brief encounters he has with fellow wanderes, but has no intent to return to any form of civilisation.

About

Thorn was raised in a small grimm community on the outskirts of Stormgate. They were an isolated group consisting of only a few dozen adults and less than a handful of children. They called themselves a pack, and they lived in their Warg form more often than not. This life was the only one Thorn knew of - living as a beast, spending most of his time hunting, sleeping or foraging. He never socialised with anyone outside of his pack, and he was more than content with his life. His mutations were never mentioned by his pack-members, and he grew up believing there was nothing abnormal about his appearance; the only time he glanced his own image was in reflections, after all - the pack had no use of mirrors or other such things.

Material World

Most members of his pack travelled to Moonspear or Bramblecrown at least once in their youth, to gain an understanding of the world beyond them and why their family chose to remain in the wild. As a child, Thorn found the ritual foolish and unnecessary, but as he aged he began to grow curious of the other species his old siblings spoke of. A youth of 16, Thorn first travelled to Moonspear on the insistence of an older sister, one who yearned for a city life. Thorn couldn't understand her desires, but he agreed to come along to keep her company. The young grimm was certain he would be uninterested in the city and its people, but he was wrong - he hated it. His sister had explained that the baphomet were one of the most generous and hospitible cultures Below, but this just added to his disgust. If a culture that was so materialistic and focused on false-generosity was the pinnacle of civilisation, how did that speak of the other races?

Lone Wolf

After this disturbing revelation, Thorn quickly left the city to return to his pack. To his shock and dismay, his sister elected to stay in the city, hoping to travel even further to the demon capital of Asphodel. Thorn couldn't believe what he was hearing - how could someone who had been raised in the same environment as him not see how dangerous this city life was? He left her after they had a heated argument, much to his later shame. Thorn was uncertain of his future - he obvioulsy would never live in the cities, but for a reason unknown to him, he felt no desire to return to his pack. Thorn has been travelling on his own for years now, making his shelter and hunting his food when necessary. He is content to live his life as a lone wanderer in the wilds, but it seems inevitable that at some point he will be discovered.
