Character

Audrey is a brave, reliable, strong, and hard-working she-cat, although headstrong about doing things on her own. She has no reservations about getting dirty or messy or having any proper eating etiquette. Audrey dislikes things that are "girly" and "fancy", like the froufrou dresses Katrina is always trying to get her to wear. Audrey is also quite stubborn and doesn't give in very easily. She does have a short temper and gets offended easily, especially when people pronounce her name wrong.

History

Audrey began as an Indian Territory. When she was a kid, she lived with her father, Quapaw. Later, Spain found her and gave her the name Arkansas. A few years later, she decided to move out of the tribe and get a job and try to make a modest living. She came to a place on the Mississippi River and called it Arkansas Post, and she stayed there until 1813. Six years later, she was turned into a territory on July 4, 1819. This is when she started to become more hardworking because of how many planters and slaves were coming into her land. She helped Antonio out in the Mexican-American War by sending her own troops and having Washington as a major base. When the Civil War began, she didn't want to join the Union unless Abraham Lincoln did something about the attack on Fort Sumter. On May 6, 1861, she joined the war. After the war, her life was simple: a Union state and expanding. In this era, she discovered hot springs and became a major tourist attraction, and with the help of railroads, her economy increased.

It was at the end of the Civil War, following a break-up with Antonio, that she found out she was pregnant with his child. Rather than confront Antonio about it, she hid away from him for years, giving birth and raising the child, Trevan, on her own. She knew if she told Antonio, he would immediately come back to her and marry her on the spot, not wanting to leave her to raise his kid all by herself. But, she also knew that that life wouldn't be what either of them would want; they'd broken up for a reason, and she knew it was best that way. After Trevan was old enough to be left to his own devices, Audrey set her sights on another man, who she'd been crushing on for a long time. Only problem was, he was a major flirt. Hunter was extremely lustful for Katrina, but the she-cat wasn't having any of that, rejecting him time and time again. But, Hunter didn't get the hint, it seemed. Years and years of pursuit later, and Hunter finally realized what he wanted was right in front of him the whole time, and the two mountaineers began their relationship, advancing into marriage, and then a daughter, Melina.
