Borb

Borb is light gray and bright yellow, with orangish-red cheek marks and matching yellow and orange-red particles floating throughout his clear jelly body. He has two orbiting wing-shaped cells along his 'back' and another tail-shaped one at his posterior end, as well as a small yellow cell on the top of his 'head' that gives the impression of a bird crest. Curiously for an Amoeba Pet, he has a light gray beak-like protusion on the front of his face. More often than not there are bits of birdseed and his favorite bell floating inside him.

Species Info

While they have an appearance rather like a single-cell organism, hence their name, Amoeba Pets range in size from 'goldfish' to 'small dog' and posess an intelligence and temperament similar to a housecat, with some variation. Their transparent bodies, rather than slimy as might be expected, are soft, glittery, a bit like Silly Putty to the touch, and have a tendency to pick up and absorb their favorite things (treats, toys, et cetera). If absolutely necessary, items can be gently extracted from an Amoeba Pet with a careful hand.

No one knows the origin of Amoeba Pets; they just sort of showed up one day. As the name suggests, however, Amoeba Pets make great pets!
