Design Notes;
- Her eyes have static on them, with dark circles under.
- Wears a lot of black and white clothing (mostly black). You won't see her wearing any other colors often.
- Very modest style choices, tends to never wear anything that doesn't fully cover her, regardless of weather. In particular their neck— even if not covered by clothing, it'll always be covered by at least bandages.
- Wears a cross hairpin on her hair.
- Their hair is a mess, their braids easily get disheleved and loose. She has a lot of hair, so it's even more noticeable. They absolutely did not comb it before braiding it.
- They're always frowning. Even when they're happy they tend to frown quite a bit. It's a bad habit.
- Praying hands tends to be a trademark for them.
- Very round face and eyes. This is true for all versions of them.
Trivia;
- Her VC is Asami Shimoda.
- Her real name is Masami Handa. They don't really use it much anymore unless it's for formalities.
- She isn't really recognizable publicly— most of the works attached to their name only have the information listed as 'made by Kanon' and as Kanon barely has any actual information about herself online, no one really knows anything about her besides the name. She's known as a mysterious illustrator for indie games.
- 'Kanon' started out as their handle on MMORPGs and eventually became a big comfort name to them to the point where they always introduce themself as Kanon instead of their real name. 'Kanon' means "hope coming true".
- They live alone, in a house her parents kind of left behind to her. They were a hikkikomori for about 3 years, but this isn't the case anymore. They're going to university.
- She fidgets a lot, and hates looking people in the eyes.
- Actually really enjoy pastel colors and more soft-like aesthetics. They just don't think those fit them like, at all. They're too gloomy.
- Likes photo collages and pinterest boards. Specifically for outfits and general aestheticism, though.
- Really fucking bad insomnia. Often won't sleep before the three days-mark.
- They also write alongside drawing, occasionally. You can't see it.

- Parents - Not relevant anymore. At least they can afford it.
- Kanda Handa (Cousin) - Her cousin. They were never really close and Kanon probably was way too closed-off for him, but he was nice. Still is.
- Rowan Shimizu (Friend) - He appeared out of nowhere and wouldn't leave, to Kanon's misfortune— well, not as much of a misfortune as she'd like to call it when everything that came out of his mouth was always really fun. She wouldn't admit it, but he has his own place inside her head. Kanon has a soft spot for him.
