An aspiring underground writer trying to make his mark on the world, Zealil is someone who will unfortunately never see the fruits of his success due to his blood color, and he's at peace with it. One can fight about how it's not fair or how the world shouldn't be this way, but Zealil finds himself content just to be allowed to create and survive; that's all he needs to be fulfilled, really. Since he's always had to live in immense amounts of fear and with many extra doses of caution, surrounded by stories of his castemates that were less fortunate than him, Zealil considers himself lucky that he's not currently on the run from an angry mob that wants his head on a stick. For him, having accepting friends, a caring lusus, and the ability to make whatever he wishes is honestly more than enough.
