Growing up, Nadir missed almost the entire school experience - constantly sickly and bedridden, they were practically homeschooled from a young age, in and out of hospitals, constantly being monitored for another collapse. As they neared the end of highschool, their health seemed to improve, and suddenly, Stella had a younger sibling no one had known about. Everyone found them enigmatic - pestering them with questions they did not feel like answering, which only added to their mystery. Uncomfortable with all this attention after spending most of their life alone, they removed themself from the general populace, wanting only peace and quiet.
There was one girl, however, who was like them, but for different reasons - she didn't seem to be pestered like them, rather, the other kids were cruel to her, and that made her alone. One day when they were alone together in the library, Nadir worked up the intruige to ask her about herself. The resulting conversation was one of the most engaging talks they'd ever had in their lives - and their curiosity towards the girl only grew.
She held such a passion they hadn't seen before - it was captivating. If they got closer to her, and understood her better - could they find a feeling like hers?
