Profile
Personality
Antisocial | Quiet | Apathetic | Untrusting | Independent
His depression has left him numb and rather apathetic towards things, but he is slowly improving and his psychological/mental state has improved since the days I'd left the Forest.
Is highly emotionally driven depending on the occasion. If worked up enough he may end up going into a blind aggressive state, but this is rare.
Still retains a bit of his old curiosity, however I don't think he's as curious and inquisitive as he once was. Will probably have a few lingering glances at groups of deer, but I don't think he has the same desire to hang around and watch for long periods of time. Although sometimes this'd depend on the situation.
Has an odd fearlessness, spawned from a combination of taking his foster father's words to heart alongside emotional detatchment.
Almost automatically labels beings who are bigger than him, physically intimidating, and possibly aggressive as bullies and/or a joke. This is thanks to a cross between past events, aforementioned father's advice, and apathy. how to get killed: a novel by corvus
Keeps to himself a lot, most of the time will always mind his own business and any conversations had with strangers will be brief and straight to the point.
TEF - Has a tendancy to be judgemental of varying degrees to other TEF residents who don't resemble deer and/or TEF deer. However it doesn't usually escalate past a mental "what the hell are you" "what the hell is this". This is mostly developed from not being used to seeing said beings inforest. He grew up in the forest at a time when said things were non existant to very rare, then left during said time, only to return to a forest now filled with a myriad of different creatures/beings that are strange to him.
TEF - While having grown since he was last inforest, he's still very much a quiet anti-social deer and prefers to be left alone. However with quiet perseverance he'll slowly tolerate a stranger deer's company.
Other
Less flighty now, but still reluctant to socialise.
Is less scared, but more "leave me alone"/doesnt feel comfortable socialising.
Doesn't like others (especially strangers) all up in his face. Will end up backing up/off or flat out leaving if another gets too close and he doesn't like it. Quickly approaching him also exacerbates said situation.
50% of the time will panic when cornered, even if he's not in danger. Doesn't like the idea of being trapped in. Weirdly enough his favourite spots involve being wedged in corners A+ location choices Corvus
Has facial scars that he’s super self conscious about. Also has large one that goes across his left shoulder blade. His shoulder wound was severe enough that it’s given him nerve damage and overuse will cause him pain.
Is rather anti-social, the loss of a huge number of his friends has left him with little interest in making friends; he thinks they’ll just leave or die. However it’s not impossible and a gentle persistance is the key.
Does not come in contact with any of his family.
Became chronically depressed after the loss of his closest friend a few years ago on top of breaking a promise he had with her in regards to watching out for her children (even though the breaking of it was out of his control). He’s doing a lot better in the present, but he’s not completely over it.
TEF - He has nerve damage in his left shoulder and cannot run for long periods of time. (Also has this in human form, too much strain/overexertion on his shoulder will cause considerable pain/discomfort)
TEF - Has also sprouted a larger set of antlers due to age/aging, and his aging has also darkened his pelt considerably.
TEF - There's a particular area on the First Forest he doesn't like going near for reasons that are personal to him. Tries to avoid the area as much as possible.
TEF - Doesn't like fawns, partly because of the same personal reason as above. He won't get aggressive at them but will try to keep away from them.
