A soft-spoken, kind, but peculiar woman, Cia finds interest in the most mundane of things. She’s deeply curious about her surroundings and likes collecting what most people would consider junk. Despite her hoarder habits, she’s not so attached to anything that she fears losing it - her family means more to her than any silly little tricket.
Cia possesses a gentle and courteous, but slightly odd disposition, which can take some getting used to. Though cheerful, she’s less emotive than most, has a tendency to stare, may not pick up on certain social cues (like sarcasm), and has a very literal manner of speaking which can come off as either blunt or cryptic (if she says you look strange, it’s not an insult, but it does mean she’s confused by you. Drift jokes that she is “The Queen of Roasting People By Accident”.) On the surface, she might seem dense, but she’s incredibly perceptive and is known to surprise people with her deeply insightful responses.
Her soft, nurturing demeanor should not be mistaken for fragility; Cia is firm when she wants to be, it’s just uncommon that she is. In fact, it makes her intimidating on the rare occasions that she is upset, as it catches people off guard. She has a talent for disarming people with just a glance.

STRENGTHS & WEAKNESSES
HAUNTED
Up until she turned 17, she was haunted by the ghost Aysu, who protected her. Cia generally maintained full control of herself, unless there was an imminent threat. After Aysu moved on, Cia inherited control of those abilities. These abilities include:
- Levitation: She can float!
- Ghost Telekinesis: She can move objects or have her powers “possess” them (though she avoids the latter). She mostly just finds this handy for multitasking, but it’s occasionally used to frighten assailants too. She can levitate other people as well, but it depends how heavy they are.
- Phantasmagoria: She can force a target to experience nightmarish hallucinations. Often mistaken for reality warping, but she can’t truly “warp” matter. She dislikes this ability because of how cruel and unpredictable it is, so it’s usually only triggered in times of severe distress (which is very rare).
Who needs ladders?
She's a good climber. She has claws to help with this. Since needs to scale buildings a lot, she’s gotten very good at climbing without the use of tools.
SUBCONSCIOUS STEALTH EXPERT
By nature, she is very quiet, and her presence usually isn't immediately obvious. She often appears seemingly out of nowhere, which tends to spook people. She either doesn’t notice their startled reactions, or just doesn’t care.
Special eyes (and ears)
She has strong hearing and exceptional night vision.
Socially strange
She spent the first 14 years of her life without a single living connection, just a ghost to keep her company, so it's only natural she’d have some odd behaviors. People find her either charmingly eccentric, or they’re weirded out by her. Either way, you should safeguard your shoes if Cia takes an interest in them, because they might mysteriously disappear.
Sensitive hearing / vision
Bright lights daze her and loud noises are unbearable, and she's at higher risk of damaging these senses than most people. She is semi-nocturnal, and if she’s outside during the daytime she often needs to wear sunglasses when the sun is at its brightest.

She has soft little hands, so she has a weak punch. Ghostly telekinesis is a good backup though. Don’t underestimate her, knives are scary when they float...
SEPARATION ANXIETY
Drift learned the hard way that in spite of how it seemed, Cia had never truly been alone. Before him was the ghost Aysu, who raised her. It had been with her every single day until it decided that Cia was in good hands… and it’s easy to forget that, because Drift only saw the ghost once.
While Cia can get by on her own, she feels very troubled - the longer she’s alone, the worse it gets.
About
In a world where most survivors have given up hope or long for a brighter future, Cia takes it in stride, as she doesn’t know any different.
In her youth, Cia had no known family and lived alone, in a pair of old shipping containers that she transformed into her own rustic abode. At night she traveled across the desolate city in search of things to collect, often curious little tokens of the past.
In her adulthood, she maintains her love of collecting things. Her shipping container house has greatly expanded, accompanied now by her partner Drift, and their kids.
Appearance
Cia is incredibly well groomed, which is surprising considering the state of her surroundings. Where others struggle, she seems to excel - living comfortable and content, which shows in her appearance.
She has a love of elegant attire and is mostly seen wearing gowns she found in an old bridal shop. Her hair and fur is soft, silky and shiny. She has a mysterious, almost ethereal quality to her, and she moves as if unaffected by gravity. In the dark, her eyes glow and leave a ghostly trail. Petite. She has small hands and feet.
History
Unbeknownst to anyone still living, she’s the only remaining survivor from the Sol Dimension, which was swept by its own cataclysm.
Trivia

- For a long time, she couldn't read. Drift eventually taught her to.
- Her height is 123 cm, about average for her age.
- Cia has a pleasant singing voice, though not a very powerful one. She and Drift like to duet when listening to their favorite songs.Her body doesn’t handle cold weather too well, especially in her hands and feet.

Relationships
Drift the Hedgehog [ Husband / Best Friend ]
"I love Drift. He’s very sweet… and he’s quite beautiful! He has nice eyes and a pleasant nose.” — Cia
Her opinion of Drift isn’t too different now to how it was when they first met many years ago; he’s sort of eccentric, but in an endearing way, and that feeling is mutual. She enjoys his company and finds deep comfort in his presence. They’re both visibly despondent when they’re apart.
She loves Drift, and though she may not always fully understand his actions, Cia will always be there for him when things are rough… or when he needs to open a jar of pickles.
Silver the Hedgehog [ mixed feelings ]

The moment she nearly lost Drift is a memory that will haunt her forever. She doesn’t blame Silver for what happened, but she can’t look at him without being pulled back into that moment. It brings her to tears, so she avoids him as much as possible.
Butch the Warthog [ friend ]
"It's good to see you again!” — Cia
Butch may be rough around the edges, but he's reliable and a good friend. She’s not bothered by his mean exterior. She can tell that he’s broken deep down, but he refuses to talk about it.
River [ daughter, eldest ]

Cia loves her daughter with her whole heart and blames herself for the guarded mercenary that River eventually becomes. In her early years, River was playful and full of love, but she closed off after witnessing her father nearly get killed - that would never have happened if Cia hadn’t made the mistake of bringing her along when she searched for Drift.
Maverick [ son, youngest child ]
"What a clever little device! How does it work?" — Cia
He has a genius mind and a wonderful sense of humour and she delights in witnessing it. Maverick is a prankster at heart and he likes to get under people’s skin, but it’s never bothered Cia at all, she loves to encourage his creativity.
