- Flicker wasn't good mother to him and his sister, so they more or less had only themselves. Quickly learned how to fight, and became scouts during the War.
- After the War, their mother left the Kingdom for good, and they stayed in until the Jade Mountain Academy was founded.
- They are in and out the Academy, not too interested in getting to know other tribes and dragons, but that don't stop them from being bullies and picking up fights with others, notably Delta.
- Falcon is louder and meanier than his sister, but instead of physical fighting he prefers emotional manipulation. Despite Flicker neglecting them both, Falcon was more favored by her, because he looked more like her and not his father, unlike Sparrow. He wasn't too happy about that though, and was trying to protect his sister from that.
- His siblings are: Sparrow (clutchmate), Phoenix (through Flicker).
