Xander is a gangster who seemingly has a kind heart, though he denies it. Being born into the gang lifestyle, Xander hated that he had no choice but to cooperate with his brother, since he had nowhere else to go. Ares refused to let Xander do nothing for the gang, so he was strict with his brother and while Xander mostly does a good job, he's unknowingly charitable and gets teased for being a bad gangster, which hurts Xander's pride.
Despite being a bad gangster, Xander is surprisingly good at coming up with arguments people can't win against, which makes him incredibly useful for debt collecting. Xander knows how to fight people, but he thinks that's too much of a pain to deal with and instead uses his smarts to win. Ares acknowledges this trait of Xander's and would often bring him on missions despite Xander's many complaints.
Xander doesn't know much about his family background. Every time Xander thinks back to his past, he could only remember his brother and a few of the gang members. When Xander asked Ares where their parents are, Ares always replied "they left". However, when Xander turned 17, Ares finally told him the truth and said they passed away. Xander's β father passed away after giving birth to Xander, and Xander's α father died from tuberculosis. Of course, this truth saddened Xander, but he was also relieved to know that they never left him and Ares.
Xander was surprisingly optimistic and he always had time to visit his parents' graves. He always had a soft spot for family, though he's embarrassed to admit that because of his grumpy demeanor and gangster status. Xander is mostly calm during his smoke breaks and helps out the housemaid in their gang. Xander also gets along well with the gang and they all treat him like he's their little brother. Sometimes, Ares wonders if he should have just made Xander a housekeeper instead of a gangster.

- Feels naked without his shades, though he stops wearing them when he gets married in case people recognize him. (they only recognize him with his shades on)
- Xander was close to having a tattoo as a sign that he's part of his brother's gang, but he refused to have something permanent on his body and after many fights with Ares, the latter finally gave up and let Xander be.
- Ate sour candy once with Ares and refuses to eat sour candy ever again.
- Xander's eyes are a bit sensitive to bright colors.
- Almost knocked a guy unconscious when the latter tried to feel him up. Later, the gang beat up the guy until Xander told them to stop.

Ever since Xander was born, Ares has been taking care of him, basically being his parent. He's strict with Xander and when he turned 18, he forced Xander to work in their family's gang. Xander doesn't completely hate Ares, but he can't stand him. However, Ares stopped forcing Xander to work for the gang when the latter got married.
